Thank you <3
When James looked to Keegan, he merely shrugged, fingers playing with the little game piece in his hand for lack of anything better to do. However, as Iresh spoke up, Keegan lifted his eyes from the dagger to the Hufflepuff, choking back the desire to just punch him in the face. "What?! Are you drunk?! Nothin'ood 'as come of this school since Remoth came. Changin' the uniforms was just a stupid little tactic to gain control, not trust, from the student body. I guess we now know how easily some people are influenced," he grunted, not even bothering to look at James or Rose, knowing full well he'd probably get a tongue lashing from speaking out like that. Keegan's biggest turn over with Remoth had been the pudding incident, how she hurt his friends, but let him off the hook entirely. How she strangely removed Rose's prefect title and demeaned her, but praised James in front of everyone. That's now how discipline worked, at least not with McGonagall. Keegan didn't trust that woman at all, and knowing he was in the presence with someone that he assumed now did, it just soured his mood.
He hated this. Keegan genuinely hated this whole situation even more now. As Iresh rolled the dice, Keegan didn't even bother looking, having started to find more interest in being stabby-stabby to the cushion with his game piece, an occasionally grumble in Chinese could be heard. He wanted this game to be over, and it'd only just begun. Head jerked up though when his piece left his hand and jumped to the board, eyes scanning his friends to see theirs had done the same. He watched the board set itself up, and he would read the little quip that floated about, but it meant nothing to him. He would have to read it a few times to figure out what the little riddle seemed to entail, but, when nothing happened, his facial features softened as he looked to James, shrugging once again.
