Hello, ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) tegesta! This is Bryan Olson, a 19 year old New York native and mcknzies second grade penpal. He's intensely outgoing and hyperactive and considers himself to be a people person. He's the son of a well known Psychologist and a Neurologist but he tries to keep from bringing friends home to meet them, as between the two dinner can get quite uncomfortable. While he's of average intelligence, he's a jack of all trades- knowing few about many topics and is always up for hearing more. Be warned, though... The filter between his brain and mouth isn't intact, so there are many a time he'll say things that are off color and offend people and then there are other times he does it intentionally. He can be quite sarcastic at times, but usually only when irritated and the only remedy to this is MORE COWBELL! Just kidding. He's pretty addicted to Supernatural and Heroes, is a Harry Potter nerd and thinks Twilight is the devil.
Chances are good that he's sent a few of Kenzie's buddies friends request via facebook or myspace, or even friends of her friends since he loves new people. For all the New Yorkers- he's often found in the Subway playing music in his spare time, so people who may have struck up conversations or whatever would be cool, too.

hello, tegestans! i've heard great things about this place so i figured i'd give it a try. this is max salcedo, twenty-one years old, and living in brooklyn, ny. he's of puerto rican decent which he celebrates his culture with his family, but that's about as far as he takes it. he knows the stigma and stereotypes that come with ny ricans and doesn't want people to think those things about him before they get to meet him. as for his job, he does a lot of club hopping thus making him something of a modern day club kid. basically, he gets paid a low sum of money to host an event, throw a party, or attend. think something like the misshapes, though not quite there. something to that effect, anyway. but since he's not exactly famous outside of clubbing, he still keeps a day job being a desperate housewife's personal assistant. it pays well and he gets a few perks every now and then. although, he's debating about becoming an aesthetician because doing hair, make up, and other various forms of altering someone's looks with effects totally caught his fancy. so school for that could be coming up. though, he doesn't want to be labeled something he is because his sexuality is very non-existent. he doesn't believe in sexuality nor relationships. which basically sums him as a manwhore with some candy coating. as his personality goes, he's pretty chill and laid back. drama-free and it takes a lot to piss him off. he loves socializing and making friends, but will take what others say about others into consideration. networking and socializing with the wrong people could hurt his chances of making it famous for no damn reason aka the american dream.
basically, that's all that i have for him. he's recently been spending time with lusianna and eclan (still need to speak with you both!) and those are all that i have for his connections. i'd love lines for any other new yorkers, people who might have visited, maybe even distant relatives? i'm sure we could work something out!
