[23 Jul 2009|07:18am] salutations, again! i've decided to bring in a jordin sparks. everyone needs a little diversity in their game, right? right. i know not even half of you are awake yet so i hope when you see this on your fp, you'll click the little comment link and we'll put something spectacular together. anyways, this is nina torrez, a cuban mutt that loves to sing, smile, and sass people. she'll be attending her first year in college at the academy of art university in san francisco as a photography major. she'll need models, bands, and random strangers to take pictures of in the california area. she'll also need a florida connection, i'm thinking she was a key west staple until she moved to california in middle school. this brings some amazing opportunities like pen pal/webcam buddies that she kept in touch with throughout the years, old neighbors and family friends, the possibilities are endless! and with that, i really do hope you reach out for a line! happy playing! 23 comments|post comment

[23 Jul 2009|11:53am] so i still haven't decided if i am going to use emile or jpa, but either way he's going to be in his early twenties. his parents broke up before he was five so he split his time in two different places growing up. much like the jimmy buffett song, everybody has a cousin in miami except trapper's (name/journal subject to change!) cousin is his mother's boyfriend and his miami is actually key west where the boyfriend has a business and spends his winters. meanwhile, trapper's dad owns a medical marijuana dispensary in california and enlists his son to oversee growing the plants as trapper grew plants for his grandfather during his battle with cancer when he was a teen. he may currently be a student studying fishery sciences or agricultural sciences as he has a bit of a green thumb (pun intended), and he enjoys travel to costa rico, puerto rico, and south america though he lives and spends very modestly and tries to fit in visits to florida to see his mother who guilts him into coming and then hardly spends any time with him when he comes. due to not having much of a real homebase these days, trapper would probably not necessarily have his closest friends be people that he lives near but rather ones he's met along the way. i am not sure which school, if any, i will choose for him but that will probably determine where he will be based. he's going to be a fun dude though, always up for adventure, and trying something new though his heart is stuck in the archives of all the old records he shares with his dad. and maybe due to his dad's profession, the two have encountered a little legal trouble and are crusaders for decriminalizing and ultimately legalizing bud. i am up for filling or brainstorming lines, i have been looking to join this place for awhile so i am stoked. 2 comments|post comment

[23 Jul 2009|03:48pm] I realize I never actually made a real post here, one that would actually give off a general idea as to my character here. Which is why I'm back here. Sorry if this floods your page. I don't have too much figured out just yet, but I do have some basic information that could hopefully be of some help to get me a few more lines. His name is Trenten, he's probably going to be 20, he is the half brother (or step-brother) of marianna, and tallant's cousin. His best friend is rollins. He has no boundaries when it comes to other members of the human race. He comes off as if he is some cocky motherfucker, because he is. He laughs at the sick and kicks small children. He pushes ugly dogs off the sidewalk, he has been known to elbow the elderly from time to time. He doesn't think he's above anyone, he just doesn't think he's on the same LEVEL as other people. He has always been one to say that people are too emotional for him, which is why he refuses to get too close to most people. Not because of the bullshit "fear of getting hurt", but because when people cry, or get angry...he doesn't like it. it annoys him. He is not someone to go to for a pep talk. He is not the guy to run to after your boyfriend breaks up with you, unless you're looking for a rebound fuck. He has no shame in asking for a blow job in exchange for his advice though. Sometimes he has been known to give bad advice on purpose so the same moronic girl will come running back to him and pay for his extra services. You have to be a very patient and tolerant person to be able to put up with Trent. Even he wonders why no one has tried to kill him yet. He has a temper. A very short fuse. When it comes to fighting though, he doesn't fight because someone has pissed him off, he fights because he thinks it's fun. He loves slamming his fist into other people. He has pride, but not too much to not admit when he's in the wrong. He drinks constantly, smokes two packs a day, pot is his friend, will try anything at least once. I'd say for now that just about covers it...Oh, and one time he fooled around with a home pregnancy test and convinced his ex that she was pregnant. After three days he told her the truth. She was beyond pissed, he still thinks it was hysterical to this day. I'm not expecting a dozen comments on this begging for lines, because I get that he seems a bit unbearable. But if you are a glutton for punishment, want some good old fashioned drama, have the patience of a saint then hell yeah give me some lines! I hear crickets. 29 comments|post comment

sorry, this is longer than i wanted. :/ [23 Jul 2009|07:07pm] Okay, so a lot of her lines have left and her interaction is dwindling so it's time to throw Raleigh back to the pack for storylines! There are so many new people and I'd love to work out new lines with you all. Brainstorming is always fun! :) This is Raleigh Murphey, an 18 year old Los Angeles native and recent graduate of Tegesta High. She spent almost 10 months in Key West (mid-September -> late June), after her parents sent her to spend her senior year with family there thanks to her taking her partying a few steps too far. She made her fair share of friends there and she misses the most of the people there. Personality-wise, Raleigh is normally quite bubbly, she'll talk to anybody but there's a monster lurking beneath calm waters. It doesn't rear its head very often. Only once since she's been in the game! She keeps herself in check. She's honest, very loyal to her friends, and lately she has taken a VERY cynical outlook when it comes to relationships beyond friendships. Simply put - she doesn't believe in relationships right now and she's intent on staying very single. She'll take loneliness over heartache anyday. Her one true love is art and she is an apprentice tattoo artist. In terms of what connections she has right now -- her best friends in the game are thornton and nessac, she also shares an apartment with Nessa. She has two cousins, marilon on her dad's side and jareame on her mom's. She is friendly with andrw, sjones, nate ... and I'm sure there are others who escape me right now. Yell if I forgot. I'm open to anything and everything ... brainstorming, everything! I'd love to work out new lines for her and I'd love to work on existing lines more to keep her interaction going, I don't want her disappearing into a land of silence, haha.
