[06 Jul 2009|12:26am] Now that she's accepted, I figured it's time to stop procrastinating and finally post an sl plea, even though I mostly suck at these. This is Ariel Oakley, an 18 year old born and raised in Key West. Her father owns a handful of orange groves in and around Central Florida, and because of that she's fairly wealthy. She's been a private school student her whole life and she feels ostracized from the locals, so she's secretive about herself and the family business. She was a graduate of the class of '09 (not at Tegesta High, though), and while her parents want her to go to college so that she can handle the family business, she's taking a year off to travel before deciding what to do with her life, because the future still freaks her out. Aside from traveling, Ariel also has plans to head off to a treatment facility in mid July to get help for her alcohol abuse. Drinking since the age of twelve, Ariel recieved help for her dependency a couple of years ago, but the detox and psychotherapy process was disjointed and left incomplete, so she went through remission, relapse, and is currently in early remission again, hoping to recieve additional help. Personality wise Ariel has always been a shy, quiet kid, and she feels as though her alcohol abuse took a lot away from her. She's humble and sweet to the point of being a pushover and a doormat, and in her attempts to be conscientious and likeable she's turned into a bit of a people pleaser. She's hesitant to approach anyone and lacks confidence, but she tries to make up for it by keeping a happy and friendly demeanor. Aside from the above, her information can be found here. probably not the best time to do one but w/e [06 Jul 2009|02:10am] Alright, before I settle down for the evening, I thought I'd write one of these up really quick! This is Indianna Emerson, Ms. Emerson to her students~ She's an English teacher and girl's soccer coach at Tegesta High School. She was born and raised in Oakland, California and went to her parents' alma mater--University of California at Berkeley. She's 25 and is a single mother. Her daughter's name is Sierra Louise and she's only 6 months old, but Indi spends as much time as she possibly can with her. She's cliche and a is a bookworm, but she's also just like most English teachers you run into. She's got her quirks and is sarcastic, but brutally honest just the same. She tries to be the cool teacher, but she won't just let things slide. There's a small fee that goes along with that. She's going into her third year of teaching there annnd I'm half asleep, so I hope that's enough for now D: Oh! And she also works nights on the weekends as an exotic dancer to make ends meet in this economy~ But she works out of town and away from students, though I'm sure we could figure something out for that somewhere. I can use anything from neighbors, fellow teachers, students she's had or will have, girls on the soccer team, students she's gotten to know fairly well and has babysit for her when her normal sitter can't, etc etc etc! [06 Jul 2009|10:46am] ok, i figured i'd wait until i was actually accepted to write up one of these. this is cynthia ryan, younger sister to klln and general pretentious brat. she's an incoming senior and still tends to act as if she's an awkward 12 year old. she's quiet upon first meeting, but if you get her going you'll realize there isn't anything shy about her. she likes to fight for the underdog, listen to indiefuck music, and sorts through her anger issues on the soccer field. generally speaking she's your normal angsty middle child. she leans more toward being a tom boy although she tends to be gowning more feminine as each day passes, she's "hetero-flexible" meaning she's bi-curious but i think deep down she wants to end up with a guy and get married and pop out little demons, etc. she's definitely a daddies girl, works at a music store with gipson, secretly locks herself in her room to paint, smokes like a chimney, and has no fucking clue what she wants to be when she grows up (although she does know that she doesn't want to be a lawyer). that's about it really! i need all sorts of sls, exes especially, best friends, frenemies, a math tutor, an arch nemesis, anything! so comment away and we'll get to plotting. 13 comments|post comment

i told ya'll i'd be back! [06 Jul 2009|12:18pm] [ music | i suck at these so bare with me! ] Now that she's an official member of the community, I figured I'd throw up another one of these SL posts even though I know right now is a quiet time and probably the worst time to try and get some lines. Anyway. I present to you: Bianca Gail O'Donnell, a 2009 graduate from Tegesta High School. If you were to combine the Virgin Mary with someone like...Jenna Jameson, you'd get Bianca. Okay, no I'm mostly kidding on that. Mostly. She lost her father and her sister a couple years ago and has pretty much been raising her niece (see icon) ever since. Her mother kind of distanced herself from Bianca after their deaths, but now her aunt has moved to hopefully piece back together that part of the family which means that she has a lot more free time on her hands. She doesn't drink due to personal reasons and has been a designated driver on more than one occasion and has no problem with doing that whatsoever so maybe a few people she's had to drive home (with their cars as she just now got a vehicle of her own at graduation). She is cousins with loganboyd so there's bound to be a few connections through that. Yes, I am looking at you, avar. ;] She dated wvanhorn during her freshman year and they were each other's first. I think she is supposed to be best friends with leir but we still need to figure that out. I'd love to get a few more good friends, a couple of exes, and anything else you can think of. Dieforlexklok - I always love IMs. [06 Jul 2009|01:54pm] Okay now that he's in this is Lexington Brooks. He's 15 and just moved to town to live with his aunt indi after his parents death. Obviously he's a bit screwed up from it but he's trying not to waste his life mourning. He doesn really know what to do with himself now. His father always demanded perfection and now he has the pressure off. So he'll be a bit of a wild child. He's gay but hasn't come out yet. I'd love for the girl he takesa a disaster of a date and the boy that helps him become more comfortable with himself. And everything else. post comment
