[15 Jun 2009|12:47am] Okay, so I'll try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. This here is Maddox De Lugo, he is 19 years old and just graduated from Tegesta High. As an infant, he was adopted into a hispanic family, hence the last name. Maddox has always been awkward, at best. Very clumsy, sort of like a puppy who's legs are just a tad bit too long for it's body (of course, obviously growing into his body..this just sounds awkward.) He's grown up in a relatively big family, 5 brothers and sisters, who of course look absolutely nothing like him, so you'd never really know if it wasn't for the last name. For a few years during junior high, he developed a stutter but that eventually went away, although it still comes out often when he's nervous. Up until junior year, he was pretty much the same. That was until, who he considers his best friend, sjones came over one day while he was boarded up in his house watching spanish soap operas with his mom, turned off the tv, and told him to get the hell out of his house. Since then, he's kind of broken out of his shell. He still has a few things to work on, but the basic 'i'm a teenager, fear me' attitude is now present. As for his personality now, he's a lot more outgoing and social, jokes around a lot and smokes a ton of pot. He still gets nervous pretty easily, especially around girls. He has barely any game and is often a stuttering mess around them, except online. He's such a dork, really. You can read up on him more here. As for storylines, he really only has sjones right now as his best friend and "protector", because girls are just plain scary. :] But I'd love to get him anything and everything. Maybe perhaps a few of those "close encounters" (aka almost girlfriends but he just didn't have the balls), maybe some guy friends who are constantly trying to get him to completely break free from his old ways, etc etc. Oh, and he's also tight with tidrick. 12 comments|post comment

i'm already on the page but oh well... [15 Jun 2009|10:35am] so i've been here for awhile (january i think? wow...) but i haven't done one of these in awhile and there are tons of bright, shiny, cool-looking new people so i figured it was time for another one. this is gilbert nishihara, eighteen, a recent tegesta grad who was born and raised in hawaii. he's currently employed as a lifeguard/swim instructor at key west community pool and up until recently he was a competitive swimmer. when he's not in the pool he's usually hanging out with his little brother or tooling around town in his 1972 camper van that he affectionately calls ginger. also, as far as the future goes he's staying local and getting a full-time job instead of going to school like everyone else. he has a great group of close friends (including his cousin and girlfriend) but he's really friendly so he'd definitely be up for getting to know more people. we don't necessarily have to come up with solid lines because i always think it's better when things develop organically. but if you can think of anything we can use as a starting off point for our characters, leave me a comment and i'll have gil IM your char the next time i'm online. or, you know, vice versa. basically i just want to let everyone know that gil and i are both open to random scenes and/or IMs so don't be shy! i promise i won't be either. 27 comments|post comment

He's gay and he doesn't really care who knows it, he's very flaily kind of tends to get over excited at things. [15 Jun 2009|05:12pm] Some of you may remember Austin from a few months ago. I've been keeping him active (mainly OOC) to keep Ren-s what's going on with him. His name is Austin Panchali, he's eighteen and he's a recent grad from Tegesta. He's had a pretty tough life with his Bible thumping father who's a pastor. Austin has mixed thoughts on religion because of it. He currently lives with sjones and her family. She's like a sister to him... he used to work at Barnes & Nobles but he quit a couple of weeks ago. Reason for that? Read below. He loves Britney Spears, Girls Aloud, and, most importantly, Hannah Montana! He's big on the spoof movies, no matter who retarded they are (I'm talking about you Disaster and Superhero Moive!) and How I Met Your Mother. ( Hey! Story time under cut to make it seem that this isn't that long at all ) sjones has been his bff for years, mustebait is, well, I'm not sure where they stand at the moment. It's a good stance, I know that. She spices up his life? matthw is his cousin and then there's his ex tahli, which I think they're still awkward about. I'd love to form new ones with both old and new members. He's actually pretty friendly even if he does bite. Though not hard because a) he's weak and b) he hates the sight of blood. [15 Jun 2009|05:21pm] Happy Monday, tegestaians! I figured it was time to post one of these since she's back in the game and everything, but I'm not even going to bother to find her original sl post, so bear me with me. This is Adrian Mustebait, a recent graduate (class of '09) of Tegesta High. She's been in Key West since her freshman year, but she's always been a lay low kind of a person. She's sarcastic, sometimes crude, a little off beat, and pretty laid back. She thinks she's hilarious but it's just her geeking over something. It's quite embarrassing, actually. Adrian's the only girl out of seven kids, and the fact that she grew up around six boys is obvious in the interests she holds (comics, cars, eating, some sports). Adrian has a little bit of a bite, but she's harmless for the most part. She's going off to California for school come fall, but for now she's working at Walmart, offering lazy customers rides on these for a very low price. She has a new job every few weeks, though, so we'll see how long that one lasts. Umm, there isn't enough/there is too much to say about her, so I'll just fast forward to the name dropping. Her best friends are clyton and alexandr, paustin is her little mamacita, she'd fight zoi for alavera and vice versa, brinker is her twin, pretty much, sjones is her PIC, and I think I'm forgetting a few people, sorry! She's bdx with a vag, basically meaning she's a huge bitch and thinks all people are ridiculous and complete idiots. she enjoys the finer things in life, thanks to her dad being an extremely well known and renowned celebrity plastic surgeon. her father is notorious for being a complete playboy and has had two wives and is now on his third, a swimsuit model who is only just three years older than leianna! she's bitchy, a total snob, and will do anything to get whatever she wants. so i'd love lines with everyone and it could be the simplest line ever to the most INSANE, and we all know those would be epic. 13 comments|post comment

[15 Jun 2009|09:45pm] so, since my main storyline/reason for joining lovely tegesta has flown off and died this is me pimping caiden out. basics: caiden james. 19 years old. he's not going to be attending tegesta for his senior year aka he's dropping out. he moved to california last year with his dad and when he came back he fucked up credits, alas he was a junior again. so, he'd be going into his senior year. he plays music and is frequently seen at open mic nights around key west. he's a total alcoholic stoner who sucks at school and only made it this far to keep his regina george like mom happy. he doesnt talk much at school and walks the halls with a hood up and headphones in. so, if someone asks you about caiden it will probably have something to do with him getting kicked out of class for something. he has been known for cussing out many teachers. outside of school he spends his time with his dog, a reefer, and his ipod. he's actually a lot more open online and after you get a few drinks in him he'll probably seem like a hoot. i'm up for just about anything to keep him alive. i love this character more than anything and i might even consider a face change if its necessary. 33 comments|post comment
