this may look familiar to some of you, but deal with it! since cyn's coming back from like, a two month hiatus almost, i figured i needed to do one of these again since there's a lot of new people and a few of the old have left, so i've lost some sls... before we begin i just want everyone in general to know a few things about cynric here.
ALWAYS : so, this is cynric, but he goes by cyn because he thinks it sounds badass. he's 17 (turning 18 on april 7th) and a senior. he's been going to tegesta high all four years with his bffl's (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) marilon, dalton, xor, lorenz, and adalyn - though he's still on the rocks with the last at the moment). they've been friends since first grade and are inseparable! ice hockey is a really big thing for him since he has a scholarship going for him for the anaheim ducks (all hail!). he plays right wing usually, but can play left wing if needed, and also has the school's district's record for most penalties in one season his junior year (think the bash brothers from d2/d3: mighty ducks). it's the only thing that cyn has ever taken really seriously in his life. his been captain all past three years on the team (unforunately, he's unable to play this year). cyn's a live-in-the-moment kind of guy and just goes with the flow. if he thinks of something fun and exciting to do, he'll do it right then and there. he's pretty laid back, too, and easy to talk to.
BEFORE : now for those character's whom have been at tegesta since freshman year or came in last year or whatever. he loves the ladies, but because of his parents divorce, he couldn't stay in a relationship for too long (going through 7-10 a year; it's the one thing he questions himself on, but never ever admits it - it's all subconscious). charllotte, alyxandria, and seidell are some of them, but there's obviously a lot more (if you want that storyline, let me know! i've lost a few good ones since people have been coming and going). he's had a few good hook-ups, too (i.e. - khirsch). basically, he's been looking for miss perfect and never realized she's been in front of him all along. only his really close friends know who it is, though. as for his personality. cynric was known for his pothead, drinking, and partying ways. i was surfing youtube a while back for random videos of jackson rathbone and found this. it sums cyn up pretty damn well if you ask me. i laughed histarically when i watched it. the only difference is that cyn drinks (drank?). basically, cyn was high 24/7 almost but rather functional. during school, after school, before school, in his sleep, etc. except... the fucker is somehow really, really smart. he has always gotten a's and b's - never c's. photographic memory or some shit. whomever has had a class with him knows he's never been one to take notes though and always made random, funny, high comments. the teachers at tegesta have always been impressed with his grades since it doesn't equal with his behavior (they never knew he was high either because they never saw him sober). his teachers even put him on the debate team last year and this (but he had to drop out) because of talking ways. come the beginning of this year though, cyn found out about his scholarship for ice hockey and his dad put a lot of pressure on him to boost his grades to straight a's. along with that, his ex-girlfriend from freshman year (the one that got away) moved and it hit something deep inside cyn that he hasn't really told anyone about yet. these two things are what led him to start using speed instead of coke. eventually he quit everything else all together and started doing speed hardcore. his personality did a huge 180, and cynric basically became this huge asshole and pulled away from everyone. his best friends eventually shipped him off to rehab in the middle of september. phew! so, cynric was at promises treatment center in malibu, california and stayed there until christmas eve, when he finally returned home to his friends and family... and back to school. so to the new students, they may or may not have heard rumors, so have them believe whatever! lol.
NOW : currently, cyn is still detoxed from everything. gasp! but... since starting his job at starbucks, he's made some new friends and started smoking weed again. no one knows because he's still the same guy he's always been, just more relaxed like he used to be before rehab. basically, the old true cyn is back, but he's hiding it from all his friends 'cause he doesn't want them to freak the fuck out. his new vice is cigarettes, though. as for his "womanizer" ways, those are not so much out the door. he's still a really fun-loving guy and whatnot, just... still willing to flirt with every girl he knows. that's who he is though, and just because he flirts with a girl doesn't automatically mean he wasn't to be with her. he's still pretty smart and keeping up with all his studies - school and work have been taking over his life lately.
so, i think that's about it. i would still love storylines if anyone has any ideas. he'll be on tennis and track&field in the spring (he also got dragged into being on the cheerleading squad somehow, lol), was part of the debate team at the beginning of the year before getting shipped off, and is in nhs, was captain for ice hockey and co-captain for the swim team, but clearly isn't participating in those anymore since he's not at school at the moment. omfg, that was long, i'm so sorry, but i just wanted everyone to get the feel for him and how things have changed. :[ so yeah, storylines and whatnot. oh! he's also cousin's with jeanclaude who he absolutely hates with a huge passion and avoids him at all costs, but they unfortunately live together. anyway, he definitely needs more male friends, some co-workers perhaps, more ex's if possible, and whatever the fuck anyone else wants! love you guys. xo.
