Almost finished, we have Grant Wilson, faced by JPad,in desperate need of some love and affection! He is an eighteen year old soon to be senior at Tegesta; originally from Austin, Texas, Grant has moved with his pregnant mother and four year old sister to be near his cousin ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sjones and her dads. That is the only established line that I have coming into this but I’d love to get a feel for how he would be received.
Grant isn’t a cowboy by any means. He’s from Texas but he’s definitely a city boy. He doesn’t have much of a southern accent unless you get him excited, sleepy, or drunk. He’s a 6’4” solid wall of man cub but doesn’t participate in team sports due to being the fat kid up until ninth grade when he did something about it. Fat kids don’t play team sports and in memory of his former self he refuses to become the kind of person that he used to hate. He plays guitar, piano, trumpet, and a mean jazz saxophone and plan on going to school to become a music teacher.
Could very easily come off gay with how secure he is in his skin. Grant loves his four year old sister more than anything on the planet and doesn’t mind ditching the Friday night party in favor of being able to wake up with her on Saturday mornings so his ready to pop mother can sleep in. He’s handy to have around if your car breaks down because he worked part time in at an auto-repair shop and will soon be looking for employment. He’s a big fan of musicals on DVD and buying albums on vinyl. He’s not very smooth with the ladies like he ought to be (years of being the fat kid) and as a result he’s only had one girlfriend in his life and she was anything but serious. His guitar is his mistress and yet he doesn’t like to let anyone hear him play it and definitely doesn't let anyone hear him sing.
I babble. Eek. So, ideas?
