BEN BARDY was complaining again after the team beat Pride of Portree. There was an above-average number of fouls from the Cannons, including 29 from seeker FAYE GOMEZ a position that is usually fouled more than fouls. "Please, Faye didn't do anything wrong, and the fact the refs kept calling her out was pathetic. It's like the whole league has it out for us!"
Making up for last matches bad timing GABRIELLE NASH caught the snitch in the first 4 minutes of the match just after Wasps chaser WERONIKA ERICKSON got one goal past GRADY RAYNER. "I had to make up for mistake last match and when I saw the snitch hanging out by GEORGIE BLETCHLEY I just went for it.
The moral is way down at the Appleby Arrows. Reports say the players just look miserable when they come to and from practice. "I've never seen a more unhappy group of players in my life. Many wish they'd been traded during the past trading season. Some are even talking about quitting the sport if they are stuck with this going forward." An insider side.
Recently retired from Quidditch BARRY BUNDY is taking his knowledge to commentating as the colour person. His first match was the Montrose Magpies murdering of the Wigtown Wanderers. His insight was fantastic, almost predicting what was going to happen. After the match and asked about it, he laughed. "I did just finish playing for Montrose and spent a lot of years around Professional Quidditch. It was such an honour to have my first match to be this one. It was exciting to see the match from this perspective."
