Even though it’d been a few days and a few very complicated and confusing conversations, Lavender was still having a really hard time handling the idea that she actually had children, or well, will have children. She didn’t think that would be possible, not with who she was now. When she’d been a girl, she’d dreamed of a big wedding, a loving husband, kids, dogs, cats, bunnies, but now? Now she pretty much never thought that would be her life.
Apparently in three potential futures though it was her life. So far all of the kids she’d met were really remarkable, although it was really uncomfortable for her too. Lavender tried to hide it and tried to be okay with everything, but the truth was that she wasn’t okay.
All three possible future partners weren’t that surprising, although she did find Theodore Nott to be the most surprising. She just couldn’t figure out how they’d ever actually work as a couple. It wasn’t something that was meant to be if it was, he’d be in every single future! That’s what she was telling herself.
Lavender was sitting down at a table at a muggle café in Glasgow. She had a latte in an extra-large mug in front of her as she tried to write down how she felt about everything, but no words were coming to her.
