harryp0tter First and foremost needs no introduction. You know him as The Boy Who Lived (now middle-aged), The Chosen One, the former Master of Death, the Hero of the Battle of Hogwarts, the youngest Hogwarts Seeker in a century. He is HARRY POTTER (and the crowd goes wild!) He is pretty much how you remember him: brave to the degree of reckless, a little snarky, stupidly noble at heart, the singularly most famous living person in the magical world. But now that he is older, more mature, and actually experienced in leadeing people, Harry is generally just operating at constant stress level that isn't really healthy since the rest of the magical world still thinks of him as the Chosen One (and gods know Harry still thinks of himself as just as responsible for saving the world as ever). Only this time around there is no Prophecy to indicate him as such or provide any sort of guide through this war. And as a family man (and sentimental ol' fool), Harry has a lot more to lose in the way of loved ones-- which can actually make him even scarier than when he was sharing brainmeats with Voldemort. (Do not mess with Harry's family and expect to get away unscathed. Just don't.) He is currently living Hogwarts as a CAPTAIN of SECTOR I (Duelists) and enjoys training his cadets a great deal... but isn't so crazy about sending his lieutenants into battle, especially without him. Harry is wide open for plotting and interactions-- family, friends, cadets, lieutenants, a co-captain would be great, as would grumbly people who don't get all the fuss about Potter even if has saved the wizarding world several times over. Throw 'em all at him! scorpionhealer You saw him board the Hogwarts Express for the first time, but that doesn't mean you know him, alright? Poor little rich boy cranked up to the max, SCORPIUS MALFOY would like everyone to know that he is not as shitty as his grandfather, ancestors, and even his father used to be. He is a good person, damn it! He has never once entertained notions of joining up with the new Death Eaters and he never will-- he would rather die first. And he was sorted into Hufflepuff for Merlin's sake! (Although, okay, even Scorpius, himself, is still boggled over that one.) But if/when people give him shit about his family and/or where their/his loyalties might lie, Scorpius is perfectly willing to behave like an arrogant, obnoxious little shit right back as a defense mechanism. Don't get me wrong, Scorpius does mean to be a good person and you will not find a more devoted and loyal friend in the universe if you manage to dig beyond the surface to befriend him properly, but the guy can be maddening and exhausting to deal with even if you get along with him. He is an obsessive perfectionist LIEUTENANT in SECTOR VI (Field Healers) (yes, working under the direction of his own mum--HI, MUM!--and Captain Abbott) and while his bedside manner could stand some polishing, Scorpius uses his somewhat manic energy and stubborn contrariness for Good and is the Healer most likely to try anything and everything to keep a patient alive, even after the outlook appears hopeless. I expect Scorpius to be the type to have more enemies than friends, but both (and all) are always welcome for plotting and interaction. wtfwitch I don't know about you, but I am still really upset that my Hogwarts letter never came. CHLOE MCCRAE, on the other hand, is a 16-year-old Muggleborn, currently living in Muggle London with absolutely no idea that she has even a drop of magical blood running through her veins or that magic is even real at all! In a more peaceful time, Chloe might have received a Hogwarts letter, might've been sorted Hufflepuff, might've studied magic and learned the ins and outs of the magical world just like any other Muggleborn student with her own sociable, vivacious flair. But by the time that Chloe would've received a Hogwarts letter, she was mourning the death of her father after his year-long battle with cancer (during which time, Chloe had not displayed a single instance of using accidental wandless magic), the Ministry of Magic had fallen again, and the Third Wizarding War was already in full swing. It was decided by the admissions process at Hogwarts that as a cusp case, with little in the way of demonstrative magic to cause real problems in the Muggle world or give her existence away to the Drath Eaters, Chloe McCrae would simply be better off remaining in the Muggle world, ignorant of the magical world, its wars, and her own magical gifts... Yeah, spoiler alert? That is not going to stick. Chloe will be coming to Hogwarts as a CIVILIAN, far too late to be educated in the traditional way by Hogwarts proper and fairly traumatized by the events leading up to her arrival and by the sudden immersion into a completely different and far more dangerous world than she has ever known. Chloe will desperately need friendly folks who can put up with her wtf-ing all over the place and I'd love to see some conflict with witches and wizards who feel that Chloe is just deadweight and that they all would've been better off just wiping her memories and sending her off to be relocated with her surviving Muggle family. Frankly, ALL THE INTERACTION with Chloe is very welcome as she will be a fun new lens through which to see this new war in the wizarding world. |
