SO THIS IS SOLITA. she's the daughter of Myron Wagtail (of the Weird Sisters, obv). she's a Ravenclaw alumna and graduated in 2019. before that she was a pretty well-kept secret of the Sisterhood until her older brother Obediah started going to school and there was no secret to be kept anymore. she also sorta said FUCK THIS SHIT and left the school not long after graduating and becoming a lieutenant in sector vii because she had LIFE to live. she worked in a bar and went on tour with her dad for a bit (mostly in Europe because lol fuck this shit in England) and played her own gigs right before she was picked up by the Death Eaters. oops? so she was there and shit before she was rescued and brought back to the castle and p much replaced back in sector vii. SO BACKSTORY, RIGHT? also healers will probably be pretty well-versed in her ptsd, and if your character goes out on a mission, expect to be having a sitdown with Solita for intelligence purposes. other than that, she has the brightest, most colorful hair EVER and tattoos and she's weird, and fun, and randomly bursts into song and dances in the hallways. so DISCUSS! ♥ L 4 COMMENTS ADD ONE

[30 Jul 2014|10:14pm] soclear HI GUYS! I'm Caitlin, and now that my life has finally calmed down, I can introduce my characters! This is Asteria Malfoy, wife of Draco and mother of Scorpius. Asteria is co-captain of Sector VI (the healers), and she is deeply involved with the war effort. She's liable to be quite involved with her cadets and lieutenants, making sure they have what they need. She's generous and sweet and generally a good person, at least in part because she's trying to make up for the Malfoy family name. She's a little nervous around men unless she knows them well (boys under 25 are exempt because they're just children to a mum, okay) and she avoids alcohol and people who have been drinking like the plague. Secretly, she suspects her estranged father is now a Death Eater, and desperately hopes this is never confirmed/doesn't get out. Over at notsoickle I have Mr. Ron Weasley, head of Strategy and Tactics because he's just so good at chess. He's still quintessential Ron, perhaps a little more steady and mature (haha who are we kidding). He can often be found arranging chess tournaments or pickup Quidditch games to encourage people to de-stress. And to just plain have fun. Finally, I have Saiyid Patil at india_ink. Saiyid was a Hufflepuff, class of '23, and is now a Sector I Lieutenant. Saiyid is a very chill, laidback, self-assured dude who never seems to get angry about anything. He's friendly and sweet...and he's hiding a hell of a lot of bitterness about being forced into this war. Secretly he passes rumors on to the Daily Prophet to expose any hint of conspiracy or misbehavior among the good guys, not wanting them to get away with anything just because they are the good guys. Parvati is a single mother who conceived her two children via artificial insemination, and who works as a journalist; he has an older sister, Ayesha, who is more or less a blank slate, wink wink, nudge nudge. All three of them need PLOT and RELATIONSHIPS OF VARIOUS KINDS and all that good stuff! 23 COMMENTS ADD ONE

[20 Jul 2014|07:17am] la_guerisseuse Good morning all! A bit about me. My name is Ashton and I'm 25. I live in Florida, graduated college with a degree in Biology education, but I'm not teaching. Instead, I found a job with the Fire Marshal as an evidence custodian (not as exciting as it sounds, I promise). I have three cats (my babies) and I watch WAY too much tv than is considered healthy. I've been RP'ing for about 8 years. 99% of the games I've been involved with have been Harry Potter based, but every so often there will be something else thrown in the mix. The last HP game I was in closed about a year ago, then I was in a forum game for a couple of months, and then a psl that ended a few months ago. I've been itching to get back into a real game, and I'm excited to have found this one! Now to the real star of this show, Dominique! Dominique is 22 and a Lieutenant in Sector VI, working as a Healer. She loves her work very much, and wants to find new ways to heal using unconventional methods better suited for field work where traditional supplies may be hard to find. She speaks fluent French and is a girly girl, but can buckle down when it comes to field work. She's excited to spend time with her siblings and ten thousand cousins, and also patch up any broken bones or other health issues. As for plot, I'm open for just about anything you can throw at me!
