Greg's eyebrows went up at the woman's voice, for some reason he'd been expecting a man though why that was he had no idea considering most of the survivors he'd met had been women. Maybe this woman was as friendly as her words suggested, but then again maybe she wasn't?
He reached up and removed one of the mechanical bows from the shelf and tested the draw, blessing the shadows that concealed him for now. It felt like it would work and he snatched an arrow from the display as well, they weren't perfect but it would work long enough for him to get the hell out if he needed it. Now all he needed was some kind of knife...
The 'we' meant there were at least two of them, which didn't make him feel any easier about the situation. Still, they knew he was in here, best to give out a response. "Aye?" He called out in return. "Mebbe ye don't, and mebbe ye do. I've no desire fer bloodshed but I will defend myself." He moved as quietly as he could, staying in the shadows crouched down low with the bow turned sideways, arrow notched. Best not stay in the same place now that he'd given away his position.
