Harris Family Reunion (Multi-crossover) Special Note: This story is a round robin created by LLN on Twisting The Hellmouth. I have their full permission to post my chapter from it on here, as well as a link to the main story. I have posted LLN's prologue so that people will know what my chapter is about. I encourage you to go to the site and read all the chapters, but that is up to you, since I do not have the individual authors permissions to advertise their chapters here as well.

Author's Notes: I just realized how bi this could get. And I would go insane trying to write about all the characters related to Xander. Well more insane than I'm. So, I send out a call for help...HELP! If anyone as an ideal about who is or could be related to Xander write it and added it to this...I would love to read it. But there are rules...Yes, I said rules but there simple... Anything goes...T.V. Movies, Anime, Slash, Het. Whatever, you know the deal...Yes I have read Tales from a Bar and like the idea. You don't have to add anything...but I'll be sad. I'll start out the first chapter or two and this counts as the first chapter but will be added more...I'll look forward to seeing who you think Xander will be related too.
Well the invites were sent out and almost all of the RSVPed. This was probably the biggest reunion in the Harris family history. A whole hotel and SunnyDale Lodge was being filled too.
Xander may not have learned much in his short life but he did know one thing, this many members of his family in one place, the hellmouth, well that was just asking for trouble and Xander knew it. But so many of the family wanted the damned thing here. Huh, what could you do?
Well, Xander decided to pray to whatever deities looked out for those that cause chaos wherever they went. If nothing else this year's reunion should be interesting....
Title: The Harris Family Reunion, Of Rifles and Bats Rating: PG-13 Author: Black Raven Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/ Supernatural Pairing: None Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy or any of the crossover characters that will be used. Summary: John recieves an invitation from Mary's relatives, inviting him to a family reunion.
John hovered uncomfortably near the door of the room, eying it's occupants with trepidation. He truly did not want to be here. He would rather face down the Demon while unarmed and butt naked than be stuck in a crowded room with a bunch of people he either didn't know, or knew and greatly disliked. But he figured that he owed it to Mary to accept the invitation to this family gathering that one of her cousins was hosting.
He was also slightly intrigued as to who would bother remembering him; that scruffy, good for nothing ex-military boy that stole sweet Mary from them and got her killed and her sons practically homeless. He also wondered who had managed to track him down. He knew that neither of his boys, nor his friends in the hunt would have given away his location, not matter how badly his sons wanted to find him, and no matter how pissed off his friends (*cough*Bobby*cough*) might be at him.
There were very few members of Mary's family who had approved of their marriage, and even fewer who had not blamed him in some way for her death. So he was understandably wary about being in a room full of them. He grumbled slightly as a tall, black haired, greasy man with a large nose and black robes knocked into him on his way out of the room. The man snarled at him as he passed.
"Watch where the bloody hell you're going! Bloody muggles."
The last part was mumbled as the man stalked away down the hall, and John sighed in annoyance. Wizards. He had bumped into a few of them in his time, and while the American wizards seemed to be no different than American "muggles", the one or two British wizards he had run into were far too snooty and condescending for his tastes. He heaved a sigh and shuffled farther into the room, sidestepping a stocky man with short brown hair and a suite that was standing near a group talking to them about something called the NCIS, and about a book he had written based on some of the crimes scenes he had processed.
He looked around, trying to spot someone he knew and did not completely hate, but could spot no one in the mass of chattering and laughing bodies that littered the ball room. He really wished he had tracked down Sam and Dean and dragged them here, then he could have shared in his misery. Though, he let out a quiet laugh, Sammy probably would have actually been excited at the prospect.
He was just about to turn around and leave, cursing himself for dropping a hunt just for a stupid reunion, when a man detached himself from the crowd and made his way over to John. He recognized the man immediately and felt a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"John! I didn't know you'd be able to make it!"
"Yeah, well, it was a close thing. But I couldn't find any hunts, so I figured 'what the hell'. How you doin' kid?"
"Oh, I've been good! Been keeping busy, doing construction. How 'bout you?"
John rubbed absently at his hair as he nodded. Xander Harris was the only person in the Harris family that he had ever been able to stand. He had not seen the kid in years, not since he and the boys had started moving around more frequently after the Social Services tried taking Sammy away from him that one year in Kansas City. He made to reply to Xander, but was interrupted by a commotion near the door.
The dark robed man who had bumped into John earlier was standing in the entrance to the room, waving his hands around his head wildly, while other people stood, either laughing or shouting as they watched the spectacle. The man was shouting something about bats, but John could not see anything, so he figured either the man was crazy or there was some sort of spirit or creature playing tricks on him. Either way, John decided that the wizard could take care of himself, since he was so high and mighty and far better than a "mere muggle".
He turned back to speak to Xander, but found the man distractedly scanning the crowds, obviously looking for someone or something. Finally the man's eyes landed on one spot, and John followed his gaze to rest on a young man with green eyes and messy black hair that was standing near the wall next to the door, wand out and giggling as he watched the other man dance around trying to get away from the "bats".
Xander let out a half amused, half exasperated groan and started over towards the teen. John watched in amusement, barely catching Xander's muttered apology and grumbled words of irritation.
"Sorry John, I have to take care of this. Man, I knew it was not a good idea to invite both Harry and Severus to this thing."
John shook his head and laughed. Maybe he could stick around for a few more minutes. It could prove entertaining if nothing else.
