Ciri did not know what psychological torture meant exactly, but all she really needed to understand was the word torture and given her life before the hotel, she had a lot of experience in it. "Truly. I was very much used to such highs and lows in my world, though the way the hotel carries on feels like a slow poison. We can be happy here, share moments with new people or people from our worlds that we might not have, but then its magic reminds us of our lack of control over the situation and how quickly we might lose a dear one."
She sighed at the thought. The movement without the freedom that the hotel brought felt like being married off for political gain rather than for any idea of a positive relationship. It was being chained in a very nice palace. Maybe that was why it felt familiar as it reminded her of her grandmother's keep.
"My world is called earth much like this one, but our land appears to be quite a bit smaller than the ones here have." According to the books she had found on this kingdom called Scotland. "My kingdom was Cintra and we also looked over the Skellige Isles, but there are other kingdoms as well that are fighting over the lands since my Grandmother was driven to death. And other worlds that I have travelled to, some that have electric devices as this one does." She grinned. "All the things I have learned here about such worlds may be very helpful should I ever leave."
She paused, leaning forward in the water, her light eyes watching him from just above the waterline. "What of yours?"
