"I can see that my lack of a wand is really messing with you," Sabrina mused before taking a sip of her water.
If she could stop making faces at whatever was coating her tongue, she would be thrilled.
"It literally tastes like someone puked up a septic tank in my mouth," she spat out with a grimace. "I keep having to burp, but when I do, it makes my stomach turn over." At least the water was helping, but she was regarding Regulus with a little more respect.
"If I'm remembering right from something my... boy... old friend told me before he left," she started, trying her best to ignore the vague smell of putrid swamp water on her breath. "House-elves are bound to families, and would do almost anything for their master."
Finishing off her water with a grateful sigh, she leaned her head back against the wall.
"Unfortunate side effect of the healing spell I used. The caster takes on some of the subjects' pain. Including how they got that pain." She groaned and conjured up more water for herself. "You're lucky that you're kind of cute, otherwise, I'd be really pissed about this."
