"Wes," she repeated in her Southern drawl with a nod, before returning her attention to the bathroom mirror and her hair. She listened to him almost absently, and while she knew that he couldn't actually hurt her, it was still strange to have yet someone else she didn't know sharing a room with her. Rogue was starting to think that maybe the hotel should do some kind of roommate questionnaire or something, so you could be paired with someone you might know.
"It really doesn't," she agreed. At the question, Rogue started to shake her head, then nodded. "Yeah, there's one in the basement, but it doesn't have any employees. This ah've had since ah was a kid, though." It had shown up the first time she'd ever used her powers, and that experience had been so traumatic that she immediately tamped down all memories of it. "It doesn't actually hold onto any color if ah try to dye it." Grabbing a clip, she gathered her hair and twisted it a couple times, then scooped it up and clipped it so that it was off her shoulders for the moment and out of her face.
"When you say you just got here, you mean like five minutes ago or didja have time to look around first?"
