Who: Gilmore and Theo Where: Theo's library When: 5th May What: Brooms aren't going to fly by themselves Status: Ongoing Warnings: None
Gilmore was uncharacteristically sheepish as he walked into Theo's library, his spell book tucked under his arm, eyes sweeping around to find his host. He hadn't been in for a day or two and it was possibly becoming obvious. But Theo's broom needed his time, his input, and he was determined to do that if nothing else.
Setting his book down at the table they normally worked at, Gilmore couldn't help but smile when he finally spied Theo among the shelves.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, my darling," he said, his tone as jovial as it ever was even if it didn't match his expression, feet carrying him to the other man's side. "I thought I'd come and work on your broom." Lifting his hand, Gilmore touched Theo's cheek fleetingly, letting his fingers catch the ends of his hair. "I also need to apologise to you. Which I should do first, so that you can decide whether or not you really want me here, whether your flying broom is worth my company."
It sounded a little bit morbid, sure, but it was a mood.
