Who: Diana Prince // Thor Odinsson Where: The pool What: Ya girl likes to swim When: Midmorning 5/1 Rating: PG-13 in case of cussies
Diana hadn’t been able to focus very well since her walk with Thor. She was still on short sleep, which might have been some of the problem. They were all trapped in this cage of chaos with no rhyme or reason given, and that was likely some of the problem as well. Another chunk of the problem was the barely-there kiss that the ghost of Steve Trevor had interrupted. It had been on her mind since it had happened, because her brain kept replaying it and the moments thereafter in absolute confusion. She found it hard to believe that such a man would want her, and more firmly believed that it had been the subjects they’d spoken of and the connection that brought about that had allowed what had happened at all. But that did not stop Diana from wondering what might have happened if that explosion had not gone off in the sky above her. It hadn’t truly, and there had been no damage and no notice for anyone other than Diana, but its impact had been noticeable, and still was.
Her muscles were tight and she still couldn’t focus. She knew there was a pool here, and having grown up on an island, Diana loved to swim. In the drawers of the dresser she’d been given, there was a bikini. It was not entirely to Diana’s taste, but she did not dislike it, and so she put her hair up in a lazy bun at the crown of her head and changed into said bikini. There was a pair of thong sandals and a white mesh tee shirt cover up as well, and she made use of those, too. The flip flops popped as she made her way into the pool and hot tub room, and she kicked them off almost immediately, along with the cover up, so that she could step into the hot tub. It would ease her sore muscles, the tension she carried in them, and then she could numb them by getting into the pool, which would feel even colder then. It was basically perfect. Diana relaxed that way for a time and then scooted up onto the edge of the hot tub with her feet still in it, reclined on her hands on the edge.
The door of the pool room opened and all the color drained from Diana's face, leaving only the redness left by the hot tub behind, because Thor was in the doorway, and she was very conscious that all she had on was a red bikini, held together by silver clasps, and how very little fabric that was. "Hello," she said lightly, calmly, and she forced herself to remain that way as she stood up, fully intending to get in the cold pool now, but she waited, since she'd greeted him and all.
