Who: Ax & Tonks What: The siblings catchup over party-planning for Ted & Andromeda's wedding anniversary When: A couple weeks out from Ted & Andromeda's wedding anniversary Where: The Tonks/Lupin household Why: Because it seems like a nice thing to do
Tonks woke up with a little more pep than normal. She refused to let the days blur together, which was difficult through the worst of their isolations. But she made games of it, and for that reason today was known as the day she was planning her parents anniversary dinner with Ax.
Within the order, there was always a birthday or anniversary to look forward to. And there was common thread between the most successful of their celebrations over the years. The parties were conversations got lively and tiny details made things extra special. Moments they'd end up talking about for years. Maybe she was biased, but the very best party planner just happened to be a very close relation.
Tonks washed up and got dressed, trying her best to put stuff away as she went along. But for every sock brought to the laundry, a cup of water would be left behind on a desk. Keeping house was never her forte. Teddy was safe at Granny Sue's, undoubtedly drowning in baked goods. She and Ax planned to meet a little after breakfast, to nail down the details of the anniversary dinner.
Bringing the last of the dishes to the sink, Tonks set the kettle and let her mind wander around the idea of the part. Should they do a theme? They'd done so many themes. She didn't even know where to start. The only thing she could do was plop down at the kitchen table, chin on her fist.
