Ethan hated the fatality of jumping on the monorail, but he wasn’t about to leave his sister down there alone. Even if they could get off the island, he wasn’t leaving without her. Fuck the rest. He’d rather them all be stuck together than alone. And because he went, Tris went, which meant Christian and Blake as well.
Once they were in their shared pod, Ethan kicked off his shoes, then tugged at Blake’s shirt. “I can’t decide what I want more,” he said with a heavy sigh. “A shower or to suck you off.”
Blake understood that Ethan didn’t want to leave his sister behind. Hell, he had sisters himself and would have been the same way. So he gladly hopped back on the monorail for a ride back down and he was sure they weren’t going to be getting up again until they climbed like before. And, of course, for reasons he could not understand, Tris followed which meant Christian did as well. He really did think that Tris had a thing for Ethan, but kept it a secret as best as he could.
When they’d finally found their way back down, they went to their respective pods and Blake was glad to have time alone with his boyfriend.
“Oh.. well…” he said, feeling the stirrings of lust in his pants at just the thought of Ethan sucking him off. “You can do both?” He smirked, pulling Ethan closer.
Ethan groaned just slightly, pressing himself again Blake’s chest, reaching up to pull him down to a kiss. “I’m fine with both.” He heaved a sigh and ran his fingers over Blake’s cheek. “You didn’t have to come with me,” he said softly. “I’m glad you did, but I know you want to leave.”
Blake smirked at the kiss and eagerly went into the kiss that Ethan pulled him into. His arms wrapped around Ethan’s waist and he held him close. “I’m fine with both, too,” he chuckled. His smile fell when Ethan spoke again and he gave a shake of his head. “No, I had to,” he said softly. “I do want to get out of here to my family, but I can’t leave you behind just like you can’t leave your sister behind,” he explained. “Have you just not figured it out yet?” He loved Ethan, he just hadn’t said the words to him yet. Maybe it was time. Maybe Ethan would finally understand why he didn’t the things he did, like climb the monorail to get to him and then come back down when instead he could have found a way out of this place. The reason was always that he loved him.
Ethan sighed softly, pulling Blake into a tight hug. “I...I don’t know what I’ve figured out.” He had feelings, lots of them, and he would have been crushed if Blake hadn’t come with him, absolutely gutted, but he would have understood. “Even if we’re stuck here? You’re fine with that?”
Blake looked down at Ethan, his gaze soft and yet an edge of nervousness had settled along the outside of them. His heart had sped up just slightly and he knew he needed to get the words out and do it quickly before he lost the nerve yet again.
“Ethan,” he started. “I’m fine with being with you, even if we’re stuck here,” he got out and licked his lips. “Because I love you, and I want to be wherever you are.” And the words were out, there was no taking them back now.
Ethan was pretty sure he stopped breathing. He could sense the tension in Blake before Blake said the words, but the words sucked the breath out of Ethan’s body. He stared at Blake hard for a long moment, fingers gripping at the collar of Blake’s shirt. “Yeah?” he managed to breath after too long a moment, but he wasn’t upset. He was just floored, shellshocked. Amazed even. Blake meant it, right? He had to. He wouldn’t say it if he didn’t.
Blake was waiting for something from Ethan. Anything. To either be okay with it or to slap Blake and tell him to fuck off. When they had met, Ethan had no intentions on love, he didn’t believe in it, but he’d also never had someone move in with him or any of the things that he shared with Blake. “Yeah,” he answered and nodded. “I do.” He took in a breath, but the nervousness was still there. “The question is, what are you going to do about it?” He’d either take it and want it, or he’d leave it and leave him. And if that were the case, he’d climb back up the monorail with a broken heart.
Ethan smiled, wrapping his arms around Blake’s neck more, twisting his fingers into Blake’s hair at the back of his neck. “Ask you to say it again,” he murmured. “Tell me. I want to hear it.” Because he couldn’t help himself. He was so happy. It was making his cheeks hurt with the way his face bunched through the smile. “Please. I want to hear it.”
Blake instantly relaxed, his smile easier his eyes softer. He even gave a chuckle as Ethan asked him to say it again. His arms tightened around Ethan’s waist and that warm feeling that comes with loving someone rushed through him. “I love you, Ethan Sinclair,” he said the words again, much easier this time. “I.Love.You.” And then he was kissing him. Ethan hadn’t said them back, but Blake hadn’t expected them. At least not yet.
Ethan flushed, letting himself press against Blake, up on his tip toes. He nuzzled their noses together, then nodded. “You too,” he murmured, not sure where that had come from but unable to help himself. The words had spilled out before he had a second to think about that.
“Me too?” Blake gave a small chuckle. “I’ll take that,” he murmured. It would be fantastic if he heard the actual words from Ethan, but a ‘you too’ was better than nothing and he could work with that. “So...what now?” He said, happy that there was no freaking out. “Now that we’ve professed our love, how do we top that?” He asked with a chuckle.
Ethan nodded. “Yes. I love you too,” he said softly, surprised that he could. That those words were even a thing that he could say. That he could feel. But he did, didn’t he? He couldn’t call it something else. There wasn’t another word for it. He shrugged. “I don’t know.”
Both of Blake’s eyebrows rose at Ethan’s words. He hadn’t expected him to say them just yet, the ‘you too’ had been enough, but saying those words. A sound of happiness rumbled in his chest and he brushed his lips against his. “You are just full of surprises,” he chuckled. “How about we go take that shower? And then you can tell me all the reasons you love me...or show me,” he said a little teasingly, already his hands were moving to remove Ethan’s shirt.
“Am I? Are you that surprised?” Ethan moved his arms, letting go of Blake long enough to let his shirt go over his head. “Yes to the shower. And you know why I do. Everything about you. How could I not?” That was the crux of it really. How could Ethan find anything about Blake that wasn’t loveable.
“A little, yes,” Blake said honestly. “I thought it might take you a little longer to get used to the fact and then tell me,” he smiled. With Ethan’s shirt off, he started moving them towards the bathroom, his hands on Ethan’s hips to lead him backwards. “You make me happy, Ethan, and all I want to do is make you happy as well,” he said as they entered the bathroom. He let go of Ethan and pulled his own shirt over his head. “And one day, I hope to introduce you to my family.”
“You do make me happy. And maybe I had time to think about it when I thought I lost you,” Ethan murmured, pushing his hands up Blake’s bare chest to loop around his neck. “Do you? You sure about that? I’m not really take home to mom and dad material.”
Blake smiled. “You didn’t almost lose me,” he said quietly. “It just took a long time for me to get to where you were,” he chuckled. He slid his hands between the two of them and started to undo Ethan’s pants. “I’m positive,” he said. “You may be different than others that I’ve dated,” he said with a smile, pushing Ethan’s bottoms down to fall on the ground. “And they might be surprised that you’re a guy, but I love you and I’m happy, and that’s is all that will matter to them. They’ll love you, too.”
“You’re sure they’d be okay with the guy thing?” Ethan asked. He hadn’t ever had an issue with his own sexuality but he remembered Blake fighting the implication pretty hard. “I want to meet them. I do.” He stepped out his pants but slowed them, pressing his palm against Blake’s cheek. “I just don’t want to make things harder for you.”
Blake gazed into Ethan’s eyes and softly smiled. “If I weren’t okay with it, I wouldn’t be here,” he said. “I wouldn’t love you like I do. I’m definitely okay with you being a guy,” he said. “You don’t make things difficult for me, my parents will be surprised, but they will accept it. They’ve seen women tear my heart into two on too many occasions, they’ll be happy that it was a man that could put it whole again,” he said. “Don’t worry so much about it, that is something to come in a maybe future if we ever are able to leave this place. For now, it’s just us here, together.”
Ethan arched a brow. “Were there that many women?” he asked. He knew about the ex fiance, but now he was thinking there was someone else entirely. Or several someones. Not that he could talk but he wasn’t in love with all those that came before Blake. He nodded, pulling Blake’s fingers up to kiss them. “I hope though, that I can put you back together.”
“Not many, just a couple that I thought were going places,” Blake explained. “It was my ex-fiance that really did me a good one, however. I’ve broken a few hearts, too, when I was younger,” he chuckled. He smiled as Ethan kissed his fingers. “I think you already have.”
“What did she do?” Ethan asked, realizing they hadn’t ever talked about that. “I have too. Broken hearts. Before I realized I couldn’t….wouldn’t…” he trailed off and kissed Blake’s palm. “Have I? I don’t think I’ve done anything.”
“My ex-fiance?” Blake asked. Here they were, standing in the bathroom with Ethan naked and Blake partway, and Ethan wanted to talk about what his ex-fiance had done to him. He sighed and moved a hand to push through his long hair. “Her name was Dani,” he said and moved to grab a towel to wrap around Ethan’s waist for the time being. It was difficult to think with Ethan naked. “She was a crime scene investigator and we met on scene,” he told him. “A body had been burned to death and it was her job to get everything from the scene, I had just been there to help put out the fire that had gone from the burning body to a dumpster. Anyway, we dated for a while, for a year, and I asked her to marry me. We planned a wedding and had it all set to go. Then, at the wedding, she didn’t show and my best friend and best man had disappeared. It seemed the two had been seeing each other for quite some time and she thought the best way for me to find out would be leaving me at the altar,” he finished, having moved away from Ethan to lean back against the wall. “It broke me. To let things go that far instead of telling me...it completely broke me. That was two years ago, though.”
Ethan shrugged, but let Blake warp him in a towel before pressing close. “You asked her so quickly?” he asked, looping his arms around Blake’s waist to press his fingers into the dips of Blake’s lower back.
“Why would she do that? Why wouldn’t she just tell you?” He didn’t do love, not until recently, and sure hurting people sucked, but wasn’t it better to just be honest? Ethan didn’t understand why lying was even a thing.” He pressed a kiss to Blake’s chest. “It would break anyone. I’m lucky you even looked at me.”
If Blake was going to talk, then Ethan had to be covered up. All senses left him when the man was naked...hell, it was good that he had sense at all when he was just around Ethan. “You think a year is too quick?” He asked with a chuckle.
“I don’t know,” he frowned and shook his head. “She went through all the wedding planning, buying a dress, bridesmaids, et cetera, “ he told him. “I guess she thought that when it came down to it, she’d marry me and that would be her final choice. In the end, she ended up choosing my best friend.” It had hurt. A lot. He’d gone down a path of wanting to be alone, not going out, just work and more work. Which is why they finally forced him to take a vacation and how he had ended up here. “You didn’t really give me much of a choice to not look at you,” he grinned. “We met and then there you were, right in front of me, hitting on me, confident…” he shook his head. “It’s weird to say, but the moment I first saw you on that soccer field, I knew I wanted you.” But he had tried for a little bit to deny it.
“Isn’t it?” Ethan asked. “I don’t know. Just seems quick. Maybe it’s different because you’re old.” He winked at Blake, then shook his head. “I just don’t get it. How she could change her mind or think differently for so wrong. Or why your best friend was such a shit head.” Ethan laughed a little and winked again. “What can I say? I’m tempting. I know that much.”
“It’s a year, Ethan, not a month,” Blake chuckled. “And I’m not old where it counts,” he wagged his brows. “But, really, a year dating and then a year engaged is two years before you actually tie the knot,” he shrugged. “Some people move quicker than others, like moving in,” he teased him. “And yeah, you’re definitely tempting. Anything more you want to know about my past?” He asked with a small smile. “They rarely talked, it was mostly sex which he didn’t mind at all. He figured that was probably not a great thing, the not talking and getting personal. “You’ve never, ever, in your life wanted someone like that. Other than me, of course?”
“Just doesn’t feel like that long I guess,” Ethan murmured. He grinned, kissing up Blake’s chest. “No, you aren’t.” He kind of liked the edges of Blake that weren’t all that young. There was something about it. He dropped his eyes for a moment. “I thought you were okay with moving in.” He knew it was too fast, but it made sense and it was hard not to go with what made sense. “Wanting and acting on it are different things. There’s been people I’ve wanted to have like that, wished I could love or something like that, but I knew I couldn’t. I knew I would.”
“Hey,” Blake frowned when Ethan dropped his eyes. “I was and still am okay with living with you,” he put a finger beneath his chin and make him look back up at him. “I was only just making it a point, not saying there was anything wrong with it, because there isn’t. People have to move at their own pace, or things don’t work,” he shrugged. “Love doesn’t have a timetable or anything like that.” He wondered if Tris was one of the people he wished he could love, but he didn’t ask. “I do wonder, though, why me?” He said. “But I’m glad that it’s me that you have decided to love.” He just hoped that Ethan wouldn’t break his heart.
“I know. Or well, I don’t know. I’m not really sure what’s going on or how to do things.” Ethan shrugged again. “Sure there’s not a timetable, but there’s a way to do things where people don’t look at you like you’re insane.” At the question, the one that mattered, Ethan wasn’t sure. “I don’t know. Something about you. I don’t feel…” he trailed off, thinking about that. “Pressured? Like I love you. I don’t even think that’s a bad thing or a scary thing. Not like I thought it would be. I feel...safe. Like I can’t imagine being anywhere else.”
“Why does it matter what other people think?” Blake asked with a chuckle. “If we listened to other people, or worried what they’d say or think, no one would ever accomplish anything,” he stated. At Ethan’s answer, he pulled him into a kiss, tender and gentle. “That’s what love is suppose to feel like,” he said when he broke the kiss. “That’s why I came down here instead of trying to find a way out. I can’t imagine being anywhere where you aren’t.”
Ethan leaned up into the kiss, pulling Blake close to him. “I would have been miserable if you hadn’t,” he murmured softly. “I wouldn’t have know what to do.”
“You don’t have to worry about that,” Blake said of being miserable or knowing what to do,” he said, and then was tugging at the towel he’d wrapped around Ethan’s waist. “Now, all you have to worry about is getting in the shower with me and then figuring out dinner later,” he chuckled.
Ethan grinned at that, going for Blake’s pants. “Will you say it again? That you love me?” he asked, undoing the belt. “Please.”
“That’s an easy request,” Blake smirked. “I love you, Ethan,” he dropped the towel to the floor. “I love you, and I’ll tell you that several times a day as much as you want.” His pants undone, he was quick to get them off so he was completely naked. “Now, get in the shower,” he said.
“I don’t think I could ever get tired of hearing it,” Ethan said, pulling at Blake’s hips to bring him into the shower with him. “Not once. I want to hear it again and again and again.” He sunk to his knees once he was in the shower, looking up at Blake. “Again and again.”
Blake turned the shower on as Ethan went to his knees, moving the shower head so the water wasn’t beating down on Ethan’s head. He was already almost fully hard, it having started earlier when he had started to pull Ethan to the shower. “I love you,” he looked down at Ethan. “I love you, I love you, I love you…”
There was something about this man, something beyond his age, their general differences, something about him that made Ethan shiver. He didn’t hesitate to grin as he ran his tongue up Blake’s length, then sucked him down with a low moan.
Oh shit! Blake let out a groan as Ethan took him in his mouth and he leaned against the wall of the shower. “Fuck, Ethan…” he got out. “I fucking love you,” he said, his hand tangling in Ethan’s hair.
That was what Blake deserved, to be shown how much he was loved. Ethan wasn’t good at words, not really, but with this? Totally. He wrapped his hand around what he couldn’t get down his throat, which wasn’t much, and worked hard.
Blake went from being almost hard, to fully hard within seconds and breathing hard. Ethan was so good with his mouth that he knew he’d be coming quickly. He groaned out Ethan’s name and said ‘I love you’ again as his body started to run towards an orgasm.
Ethan sucked in a breath through his nose and loosened his jaw, rolling his eyes up to Blake, nothing but submission in his eyes. He wanted Blake to take what he wanted, rush himself at that orgasm he deserved.
Blake wasn’t sure, but he was pretty sure it was the look in Ethan’s eyes that did him over. His fingers tightened on his hair and his hips pumped himself into Ethan’s mouth, though he did his best not to hurt him. Then he was spilling, his seed filling Ethan’s mouth in quick, warm squirts as he moaned out loudly.
That was as hot as it got, Blake taking over and making Ethan shudder under him. As Blake came, Ethan half moaned, half choked, eyes watering, but there wasn’t a damn thing wrong about it. He swallowed what he could, sucking until he was sure Blakes was through it. He pulled off with another moan, pressing his face into Blake’s thigh, fist tight around himself in quick strokes.
Blake released his hold on Ethan and looked down at him. Realizing the man was jerking himself off, he quickly went down on his knees in front of Ethan, his hand going to Ethan’s. “Stop,” he murmured and kissed him. “You don’t have to do that, let me. Let me taste you.”
Ethan whined, already close enough. He let Blake take his hand though, stopping with a needy noise. He kissed Blake back, sloppily, but he knew the taste of Blake was still on his tongue, salty and tangy. “Please, please.”
Blake smiled and then pushed Ethan to his feet, pushing him to lean against the wall of the shower. He couldn’t just let Ethan jerk himself off after giving him a great oral orgasm. He wasn’t that type of lover. It would take him too long to get hard again, so he was going to do the next best thing. Looking up at Ethan once, he then was taking him in his mouth and groaning out as he did so.
“Shit, shit, shit,” Ethan’s legs were a little wobbly, but he was leaning back against the wall, one hand twisting in Blake’s hair and the other pressed against the wall to keep from falling over. He glanced down then let his head thunk against the wall again. “God, I love you.”
Blake would have smiled at those words, but he had something more important to do. He used his tongue to circle, teasing when he pulled back and then he sucked him back in his mouth and tongue working over him.
Ethan twisted his fingers in Blake’s hair more, legs shaking. He wasn’t far, too worked up from getting Blake off, from what they were saying to one another, to everything else. “Baby,” he groaned, hips bucking. “Close.”
Blake worked harder, moving with Ethan’s bucking, his tongue twirling in just a manner to hit a specific spot on the underneath of the head that he knew should sending Ethan spiraling.
It worked just as Blake wanted and without really thinking Ethan was spilling out with a shout, head back against the wall. It shuddered through him, leaving him leaning against the wall, chest heaving. “Holy hell, wow.” Was it better now that he knew Blake loved him? That he knew he was in love with Blake? Maybe. It felt better.
Blake swallowed what he could, when the sudden burst came. What he couldn’t spilled down his chin, which he wiped away with the back of the hand as he rose to his feet and pulled Ethan to him. “I love you,” he whispered, moving to let the water hit his back. “I love you.”
There was something hot about that, the way Blake wiped off his chin, the mess that he was. Ethan was already reaching for him when Blake pulled, pressing up against his chest and peppering it with kisses. “I should have done that the moment you found me.” He smiled, closing his eyes. “I love you too.”
“What? Tell me you love me? Or suck me off?” Blake asked with a laugh, teasing him. “Let’s get clean, then we’ll go eat, and then I’ll give you a proper fuck in bed before we go to sleep.” It was moments like these that he didn’t worry about Tris, he felt solid in his relationship and was happy. Ethan loved him and he focused on that.
“Second,” Ethan said with a grin, tilting his chin up to look at Blake. “Both though. Probably both.” He kissed Blake’s chest again, skin feeling warm at the offer alone. “Yeah, that, let’s do that.” He reached up and pulled Blake down for a kiss. “I love you. Love you, love you, love you.”
