"He likes you too, he's really smitten with you." Harry responded truthfully. Teddy liked most people but he could tell that he had a special bond with Jack, which meant more to Harry than words could describe. Teddy was the love of his life, and Jack was becoming the same; it was important to him that they both like each other.
"I guess...I want to know where we stand," He responded slowly, feeling colour burn into his cheeks. He bit his lip, having a hard time meeting Jack's gaze. "I mean, I'm fine with, y'know, just dating, but...I'm ready to be a couple. When and if you are..." He trailed off, hoping he'd worded that carefully enough. He didn't want Jack to feel like he was putting forth some sort of ultimatum or something, because he wasn't. He just wanted the artist to know where he stood and what he wanted.
He sighed, managing a sheepish grin. "I know it sounds ridiculous, but...I dunno, I like the idea of being able to call you my boyfriend and not just 'the bloke I'm dating'. You mean more to me than that..."
