Thank god, Parvati would never seriously consider him like that. He had dated her sister after all. She had an unspoken rule with herself that she’d never pursue anyone that her sister had ever been romantically linked too. She couldn’t help if they came to her or she didn’t know. She might still flirt or joke about it but that never meant anything. "You could always play match maker,” she commented. “I mean if they’re really meant to be together you should just – set them up sometime. Not that blind dates ever really work out for much with the exception of the occasion one-time hookup. Nothing substantial anyways.”
When she heard Lavender was being set up with Cai, she felt like she should eat a little crow though because if her best friend fancied him and there was some weird set up thing going on she didn’t want her to think she was unsupportive. “I suppose they can happen though. They’ve just never happened to me,” she told her before giving a supportive wink and nudge. “You and Cai would be fantastic together. I get to be in your wedding, right?” She also might go as far as to claim God Mother to any future children but she’d hold off for now. No point going for overkill. “Has he asked you on a date yet?”
Of course, if there had been a shitty week there was a good chance that that was a negative. It hadn’t been a great week all around though. “I know what you mean. I feel like I’m in some sort of funk. I think the funk is going around. Tonight we both pull out of this funk and beat some fit blokes pantless.”
