Email to current security personnel, those who expressed interest at the meeting and Tony Dinozzo. (Backdated to early on Monday)
Because I apparently have taken on the role of the Roy Hinkley of this island, I'm contacting you all to help better organise the matter of security. You have all either been patrolling, expressed an interest in patrolling or have otherwise had something to say on the issue. The purpose of this email is therefore threefold:
1. We'll start with the simplest first. I think it would be a good idea to have a CB channel dedicated to security. I'll probably take the first number between 10 and 40, so if there's a favourite number of yours in there, I'd get in quick.
2. Next, we need to get to know each other. Or at least what you're all capable of and what experience you might have had back at home.
3. The intent here is to form teams with the hope of organising a proper roster so you all get some breaks. Now, I've already mentioned to Tony that I'm probably going to need some help with this, so if any of you have similar experience as part of a security agency or team, your knowledge is going to be more useful here than mine. If you do have members of your team here, I assume you were all chosen for a reason and I don't really want to mess with that. So while you're letting us know what you can do, maybe mention who you do that with if they're here. That said, I imagine we'll be looking for some diversity amongst the teams. For more reasons than one.
If there's anyone missing from this email that you feel would be interested in helping out with security, you're welcome forward it to them. Let's try and get the first two points out of the way before we start debating methods though.
Thanks, Nick Cutler
(OOC: Again, backdated to early Monday because I fail. I'm happy to handwave that people responded to this, but you're also welcome to respond if you'd like to. Oh, and I could probably do actual groups if anyone wanted. XD)
