Blood Donations
Okay. Now that that's all over, there's an issue that needs to be addressed further to keep us all safe and at least marginally happy. So if we could all put recent events to one side for a moment - we don't need yet another debate - I'd like to talk about blood. I apologise if you were at the meeting and you're now 'hearing' this for a second time. Obviously this is more for the benefit of those that weren't, didn't know about it or were at the mercy of a particular game.
If you're somehow unaware, we have a number of vampires from differing worlds here, which does make the requirement for blood an issue for all of us. So this, as it was the other evening, is a call for all of you who are able to donate blood to please do so. Doctors Banner and Watson are on board to both take donations and monitor donors. If you are of the medical profession and are interested in helping, I'm sure they'd appreciate any assistance. Clearly we want to keep this safe for everyone, so the bigger the pool of donors, the more time everyone has to recover (there will be a safe minimum, of course, as there is for blood donations in our own worlds). I understand that this isn't remotely normal for the majority of you, but I'd like you to think about it before baulking at the idea, which you are more than welcome to do.
Being from different worlds, we do have different requirements, and there is one vampire here who unfortunately must drink straight from a person. So in addition to expressing your will to donate here, if you could please also state whether or not you would be comfortable with being bitten, that will help us to better organise things. Speaking of differences, and because omitting this didn't go so well last time I technically don't need blood to survive, it's more an issue of control. But if you'd rather your donations didn't go to me in that case, you're more than welcome to state that.
Now that the vampire business is out of the way, blood donations will obviously also be of use to anyone human in the case of an emergency. So if you wanted to donate blood to be stored by one of the doctors for that purpose, again, let us know.
If you have any questions or would like to raise any concerns - go ahead.
Regards, Nick Cutler

One of the vampires - Gwen - requires the blood to be kept at body temperature. We found that collecting into a thermos did the trick. Elena - the vampire one - has to drink straight from the person. I'll put together a list with everyone and their stipulations - from here and at the meeting - and get it to the both of you ASAP.
