In the spirit of Thanksgiving...

I am thankful to whoever brought me to this island. You saved me from death.

I'm thankful for everyone I have met since arriving here. You have made me realise that it is possible to be liked for who you are, and not for what you can offer materially. On that note, I am especially thankful for Ramses & Calleigh. I'm thankful that your beautiful twins are healthy and well.

I'm thankful for the acceptance and tolerance I have experienced here. I'm thankful that I could spend the holidays with some lovely company.

And peanut butter cups. I'm eternally thankful for them.

	I am thankful every day for having AJ in my life. I'm thankful that our son will be healthy and happy. That we have such wonderful and close friends. I'm thankful that I'm still alive and that I no longer have to worry about having something inside my chest trying to kill me. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Everyone does if they think hard enough.

I was attacked, a bomb went off, ended up with shrapnel in my chest that they couldn't take out at the time without killing me. Had an electromagnet in there keeping the shrapnel away from my heart. Medical science has advanced enough since then that they were able to remove it and I'm not dependent on the electromagnet to keep me alive anymore.

	I'm thankful for so much that it would take me years to list. But in short I'm thankful for the family and friends that I've found here. I'm thankful for being kidnapped by a psycho train, and brought here. I'm even thankful for the heartaches this place causes, because it makes the moments in between much more treasured. I know exactly what you mean. And it's one of the things that I love about you- you don't seem to take things for granted, like so many do. It's funny how we can be thankful for being brought here. It makes me feel strange when people complain about it- but then I suppose it's not the same for everyone.

For me? Truly? Goodness. Well, you know I am thankful for you, too.

	I'm thankful for my wife and children, and thankful for the opportunity to experience what women go through in bringing life into the world ~~even if I never want to experience it again, thank you~~. I'm thankful to have survived on this island for as long as I have when so many others have not, and I'm thankful for the friends I've made here including Jay Gatsby. (Reply to this)
