Really.

I know Rach and Sarah are fighting now, and that's all kinds of tsahey, but they're great kids, they're amazing. They really are. I dunno the half of the stuff Sarah's doing in her labs, I probably don't even know a tenth of it, she's so damn smart, and it's not all from Tommy, y'know? And Rach is going out of her way to help everyone as much as she can, like helping me with my physio or tearing Manhattan apart looking for Tommy or helping Neytiri get used to the network or any number of things. If you were a shitty mom, there's no way they'd be so damn cool.

The fight's awful because it's happening now and they're twins so everything's just ...more, I guess, and because they're Sullys. You should've seen the fights Tommy and me had.

	If you say so. I had an older brother but he died when I was still a kid so we never had fights like this. All I know is that I feel like a failure and they haven't even been conceived yet. How the hell do you be a parent to someone almost as old as you? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Whatever, but enough pity partying, you need to get your head into the game and start communicating with your girls. Don't think of them as your responsibility, just think of them as people, like they are. Hell, what other mom gets a chance to see that her kids turn out pretty cool, and human? Only in this place could it happen, so get a hold of it and go. Talk to Jake about the whole twin thing, and when we finish kicking Tommy's ass, you'll have him to talk to about it all too. OK?

And I'd have liked to find out if I'd ever even be any good at being a mom, but look around. It was highly unlikely in my world, and only two chances here, sweet FA and none. We're in this place where nothing makes sense, and everything can turn on it's ass any blink of an eye, without even a Hellmouth to blame, and a freakin' big Spire thing that we can't even take out. Did you really think you were going to get anything like normality in baby-making and raising?
