I've been thinking...and you don't have to answer right away, but what would you think about moving in with me? You could convert your bedroom downstairs into more lab space, and Jake is welcome to come up as much as he wants. Or she, depending on how long the magical sex change lasts.

Uh, I don't know. I don't wanna leave Jake alone. He's not yet over Neytiri and living on his own might not do him good. How about we see how the kid-thing goes, yeah? If they go back to their realities, you could move down here.

Your brother doesn't seem the type to 'get over' someone.

All right. I think Sarah told him Neytiri comes back at some point, but I can understand you not wanting to leave your brother.
We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for understanding. I'll come up in the morning for breakfast, yeah?

I'd rather have you stay over for breakfast but... It doesn't do me any good to be a bitch about it, so I might as well be understanding.

Rachel made pancakes today, they were pretty good.

Uh, okay.

That's good. She just told me that my cooking will never improve. I probably should just give it up then.

No, keep trying, maybe she just doesn't like your cooking.

Do you like it?

Right now? I'll be honest, no. But that doesn't mean it won't improve, you've only been at it a couple weeks.

Guys seem to be better at grilling stuff, so you could start with that first and work out from there?

Do pies get grilled?

No, but you could experiment with sweet glazes or barbeque sauces on meats and veggies?

Veggies? That's good. I like them.

It's cool to finally eat food that's grown from the earth.

I don't understand how the species survived on just algae. If there's ever a door to Earth from the time you came from I think I'll pass, it doesn't sound like a very pleasant place.

It wasn't all that bad. The science was very much advanced and it wasn't like every meal tasted the same. They were quite good at hiding the real identity. But that doesn't mean that the real food doesn't taste better.
