If I knew that literally I'd be a very wealthy woman.

We're on some kind of magical island that kidnaps people from all manner of places in time, space, and different dimensions. We have people who are characters in fiction in some places walking around in real life here. And nobody has figured out how to leave.

Sorry if its a bit abrupt, but I think it's usually better to just lay it out like it is.

	Well, we think it's earth, but the stars don't quite match up to any known spot. For all we know we could be in a pocket dimension someplace. What makes you think it's Earth? Well- I suppose the atmosphere, but that could have been changed- it doesn't look much like the Earth I just came from.

Hmm. Perhaps an island created to look like Earth, to make people feel- safe in a familiar environment. Like putting a fish in a tank and filling it with sand and stone and fake plants-

Weird question, but I suppose I'll get used to it.

Err- one that was taken over by the Network? I mean, they're gone now, but the Blanks were left behind, and the damage to the planet- we had to go back to basics, go organic and all that, self-sufficiency etc.

It's a lot greener here. A lot more like Earth used to be, but not quite. Something in between, I think.

	Actually, we are in a book. At least, that's what I've been told. A young girl read herself into it and now starts to read other people into this world. Uhm, two and a half years and that's the girl who read us here. She started others into this world about a year ago. I'm not completely sure if I should believe that. 	In a book? Wtf is that meant to mean? Read other people into it- she must be really bloody powerful. Are we sure she's just a little girl? Maybe she's being used as a vessel for something bigger. I am, actually. That is to say- I was human, I was born a human and grew up on Earth and I had a normal job and a normal life, but then ~~I went on a pub crawl~~- it sounds completely ridiculous, and I didn't even believe it myself at first- ~~that's probably how they got me~~

Shit. I was sort of- I don't know, the Network took my DNA, destroyed my human body, and transferred my- mind and memories and DNA into what they considered something superior. I don't get sick, I don't think I can die, I'm not sure if I'll age, I don't think so.

Anyway. Blank, I suppose, because it's a bit like a blank canvas, a fresh start. All your human "imperfections" are "fixed."

I didn't choose it, it just- happened. Once they have your DNA, that's it.

Jesus, I sound mental.

But maybe that's just a new area of physics. Or as Izzy said a pocket universe. Everything is a bit head breaking. But you've got an interesting story there. Do you feel any different? Interesting, I suppose. Umm- emotionally, mentally- no. I did a little bit at first, but once the Network left and I was no longer influenced by it, then no. I just felt like myself again.

Physically, I do feel different, it's taken some getting used to. But I suppose different in a good way. Stronger.

	There are a few factors that define whether you are alive or not. Like a metabolism or growing and aging. The ability to reproduce is important as well or to adept to the environment. That's what I mean. I don't know what you want to do with it. I just don't want anyone else to die. Or to be turned into this, or whatever. They said it was a good thing, a gift- it's not, it's not a gift, I'm just afraid of what could happen, to other people, if the technology is explored and someone decides to use it in a medical field. I know you said you're not a doctor, but it all starts in a lab somewhere.

I suppose what I mean- if you want to look, just for your own interest in science, sure. If you would plan to do it to anyone else, I don't think you should.
