Due to an unforeseen complication with a recent patient, anyone born before 1965 will need to come in to the hospital to be allergy tested. We need to make sure that this doesn't happen again.

Thank you.

Cal Emerson.

I do believe you're right. Will Steven recover do you think? They're both good chaps, It would be a shame if this resulted in permanent harm.

All we can do is wait and see at this point. He doesn't need life support so that's a good sign.

Whenever you're available. Any of the physicians can handle the tests.

It's just a test to see if you have the allergy so it would be best just to be safe.

Yes, it will. It's a very simple test.

Yes. No need for an appointment. Any of the physicians on staff can do it.

It's a simple test and you both should be out rather quickly.

I have made a list of people who can stay after visiting hours to be with Steven. You, Steve, Lillian, and Maryanne are on the list.

Born before 1965, or lived pre-1965? I mean, I was born in 1959, but... I lived long after that! I was taken from 1982, in fact...!

Born before 1965 means born before 1965, no matter what year that might have been.

This test won't require any more needles, will it...?

It will involve needles, yes.

I would have listed exceptions if there were any. Everyone born before 1965 is to be tested.

By current island time it was 48 years ago. I would recommend getting tested.

Ah, is this your Earth dates? I am not from Earth.

I was quite ill recently although I'm over the worst of it now, will this cause a problem for the tests?

As long as you are over it now it should be fine.

I'm really sorry to hear about the [...] complications someone experienced... May I pray for them, maybe? What's their name? And [...] what's their prognosis, anyway's...?

I mean, I don't need to be tested for anything, as I was born in 1968, and I've ALSO been through the wringer of modern medicine already... but... Well, I just wanted to check on the state of this person with the "complications..."! if you don't want to share with me, that's fine, too, but... I DO tend to worry...!

You can pray if you wish but I need to check with friends and family before giving out any information. A full recovery is expected. I can tell you that much.

((Ooc: Sorry I missed THIS response before! Stupid Hotmail, not even relegating IJ comments to the JUNK FOLDER, but just... letting them... vanish into the ether! Let's just pretend that Neil actually responded to THIS in a bloody well TIMELY manner, shall we? >__>))

Oh! Well, that's good, at least...! I'm glad to hear it... I mean, well... I understand completely about the idea of patient privacy, but... well, let's just leave it at that: he'll make a full recovery, after all, and I'm SO glad to hear that... I'll continue to pray for him-or-her, until s/he's up and about again, however!
