Huh? Oh, shit, I put this on the network?

Elodin asked me to chase the name of the wind, so I tried to find all the different names for wind that I could.

[Not my fault, no. But I am still sorry. There must be a way that you can see them. A flying machine? Perhaps one of the giant ikran?]

Well now, I recognise from the French, at least what you were looking up... But why look for "the names of the wind", anyway's? I mean, surely not because someone else told you to...?

((Ooc: And I SO squeed a happy squeal when I saw the HEBREW in there, tbh! X-D <3))

Well, certainly not - if you don't mind being made a fool of...!

I mean, that's what that Elodin person seems to do for fun...

Have you found the name of the wind in words?

If I have, I don't know it yet.

I've found lots of names for the wind, but is there really only one name for it? "Breeze" ain't the same thing as "Hurricane" but they're both wind.

You begin to see the nuance, and in seeing nuance, begin to understand the difficulty. How do you learn the Name of a thing that always changes? The wind is never constant.

I learned.

I called it the first time, in anger, at Master Sympathist for refusing to teach me Advanced Sympathy.

Your waking mind cannot perceive the information necessary to know a Name, you must learn to access your sleeping mind instead. Your sleeping mind knows things your waking mind does not.
