My dearest Steve,

Everyday I have with you here, I treasure more than the last. No matter what we've been through both separately and together, I know that I'll love you for you all the way through. It sounds a bit trite, maybe, but then you spill something down the couch cushions and I want to rip your head off for treading mud on my carpet. Sorry if I'm a horrid woman to you some days, my love.

Anyway. I have some presents for you. Open these ones here and I'll leave one more as a surprise after we come back from Arlington. I'll be home with breakfast at 9am, I have to run a quick errand for a sick friend but I'll be back.
