Sorry, but.. by the "blessed Land" you don't mean Heaven do you? because I was always led to believe that if I believed in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ with all my heart, and accepted Him as my personal lord and saviour... well, I would be admitted to Heaven, too, on account of his blood sacrifice upon the Cross...

And I can't... Why can't I...? I can't to believe otherwise....

I don't know who Jesus Christ is. Or why he'd sacrifice himself for humans. But Eru takes mortals beyond, where they go none know. None have returned to tell the tale.

Oh...! I see.... I think, at least...

I mean, Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself because he was the way of the Light, in fact, for humankind... I mean, man is sinful, and unfortunately has been ever since the Garden of Eden, and -- well, thus it was that a Blood Sacrifice was required by His Father, G-d... in order to manage to get us into Heaven...!

At least, that's what I believe... Sorry about this whole -- rambling thing!

No? Really now...? You're certain about that, are ou?? I mean, by the Torah, at least, G-d is the One, the Creator of Everything, and we are his children, just as you said... But, well, He is also a vengeful and jealous G-d, and so -- He requires blood sacrifices on occasion, to appease His wrath...

I mean, there's something to be said for the idea of a Perfect Being being sacrificed, for us all, that we might never need to sacrifice animals or people again....!

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Why in the Valar's name would Eru Ilúvatar , the Creator, want a sacrifice? There is a prophecy that Ilúvatar will enter Eä to save His Children.

Sorry, but, what IS Eä? Because -- if it's Earth, well... I think we're on the same page, now...! I mean, there was a prophet, and a prophecy, which set the terms for G-d coming down to Earth as a Man, a perfect man, in fact, to Save us from our own sinfulness - with a blood sacrifice... His OWN Glorious Blood, indeed!
