	Oh that's right. I forgot there are people who wouldn't know. It's the 4th of July, Independence Day for my country. It's usually a big celebration every year with parades, cookouts and once it gets dark there are fireworks ~~hopefully not this time~~. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's all right, we all seem to come from different times and places. We won independence from the British, about a hundred and seventy years before my time. The British Isles are on the opposite end of Europe from Greece, off the Atlantic coast.

We were colonies of the British and rebelled when we thought we were being unfairly treated by the mother country. Times change though, and we were just allies in a war together.

	We should all get up early and go to the parade in Arlington. It's the biggest 4th of July parade in the country and it's awesome. All of the high school bands from the city perform and all kinds of stuff. It's pretty cool. But it starts at like 9am and you have to get there by 7am to get a good seat. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Alright, cool. I think you'll like it. Bring a hat and some sunscreen. I'll bring the water and snacks. We used to sit in the same spot every year until my mom stopped being able to handle the heat. 	I could find a way to disguise you so they wouldn't. Baseball caps and sunglasses tend to help. Of course I could always get you one of the cheesy Captain America Halloween costumes.
