Weyrleader, I spoke to the elves today as you said. They think that the best way to deal with their fear is to forbid our dragons from approaching their lands. They threatened to shoot the dragons if they came within forbidden airspace.

I am...uncomfortable with this, for it does not seem to me that segregation is livable in the long-term. We are bound to meet, and if they refuse to familiarize themselves with us and understand that the dragons are not dangerous, then they will never be at peace with us, and we will always have to fear their hostility if we misstep.

What we do is, of course, up to you, and I will follow whatever orders you give. But I am uncomfortable with this.

Segregation isn't a good solution. Fear is the undoing of all men. We'll keep in contact with them. You mentioned you introduced Canth to a female elf, and I have introduced Mnementh to another.

We'll use them as the initial contact and perhaps the others will learn to overcome their fear. Keep working with the women until they're at ease around the dragons, then we'll move onto others of their kind.

	Terrified. She got over it fairly quickly. He stopped telling me what to tell her midway through the conversation though. Mnementh still won't say what they talked about entirely.
