It's beautiful, Sara.

It's something at least.. to remember by.

Nobody could have done it better, or with more tenderness, than you did.

I think so. It seems an insignificant thing, but the least we can do.

It is a good thing to do, and I am proud of you for taking such time to do it.

I have made lunch today, if you are hungry. Your mother is still trying to teach me. It is mostly edible!

Ulmo's grace. She still won't give up on that venture?

I am a failure as a woman, Sara. I can't cook, I can't sew, and I only had one child, and a daughter at that.

Ai, Valar, I think I shall need to trade you in for a whole one.

Thank you very much for going out of your way to build the memorial. I'm sure everyone here will appreciate it.

You know more about building stuff than I ever will, why not trust you?

But thanks again, you didn't have to do it which is what makes it that much more special.

It's perfect, sugar. Better than I imagined.

Do you think it would be too morbid a task to teach those that stop their bids around my number how to add the stones?

It is a heavy task.

I don't. Not at all.

It should be, so every one behind each stone means something more than just the stone.

Then that shall be their task.

One day I .. well they will put my name on the stone. I should like it to look pretty.

I don't want to think about that Turgon. Or I want to be long gone. But I'll make sure whoever's doing it knows to make sure it's out of the finest granite.

Then we shall promise that at least, whoever dies first gets a granite marker.

I'll learn. Without the bids.

I would be glad to teach you. Stone isn't nearly as difficult to work with as it looks, but I'll admit the dwarves are better at carving runes.
