You know what? I'm done. I'm just done. That's all there is to it. I am officially 109% done.

So slight a difference as to be insignificant.

No. Because finished means I completed something I started whereas in this instance done means I ain't even gonna try to start in the first place.

It is also a non-standard past tense verb of carried out.

This then is my cue to ask what you're talking about.

Women. Love. Sex. However you want to put it. I'm done with it. Ain't gonna worry about it anymore.

The Adem believe sex should be separate from love. That way feelings aren't involved in primal lust and everyone comes away happy.

Tell that to certain womenfolk around here that can't make up their damn minds on what they feel. Tells me she just wants to be friends so when I find somebody that wants more all of a sudden she's got these feelings that she never said a word about and I'm the bad guy because I couldn't read her damn mind.

Your first lesson is on tact, and learning how to wait. Barring that, they come along for a penny a ride.

So are you on the side of it being my fault?

Neither for nor against, quite the contrary.

I have heard otherwise. But of course, I suppose one can expect someone to skew facts to their benefit.

Of course. Gotta make me out to be the bad guy.

Are you not the one who had relations with another woman at her place of employment? That is hardly the action of a nice guy.

That ain't even what all of this was about. And she's had relations at her place of employment too. I was at least upstairs out of sight when I did it. But she just went off about that because she was pissy that I didn't keep pining after her with nothing in return.

I fail to see how the fact that she had relations in her place of appointment makes it acceptable for her ex-lover to do so. With another woman. It seems very much like rubbing salt in a wound to me.

But of course, like most men, you likely do not grasp the more subtle social niceties and instead follow your basest instincts without regard for the feelings of others.

I am glad that my husband is one of the few who does not act in that way.
