Ladies!

How many of you are with child at the moment? How many small children are on the island?

Children are a blessing, and I should like to give a small gift to each and every one of them. But first I need to know how many there are, and how many are expected.

And if anyone needs any advice or comfort during their pregnancies, I have borne four children myself and raised them to adulthood.

I know. I have no desire for more now either, but I will always regret that we did not have more when our time had not passed.

I have twin boys that I birthed at the end of last month, and my sister Calleigh Reese Emerson will have two children of her own by the year's end.

Oh, how exciting! Do you know yet if it's a boy or a girl? I find it amazing that you can tell such things now when the baby is still inside.
