Are you still sore?

A little. But I want to go home.

I don't see why you shouldn't be able too.

Has Doctor Watson come to see you? Grey's death might have put him off

Is your head okay? Are they monitoring you? I mean, are you attached to any annoying beeping gadgets?

One of our people, from the train, was killed yesterday. He's not ignoring you he's just a little grief stricken like the rest of us.

I'm sorry.

It might not help the others, but I keep it in my head that she's not really dead, she's just where she belongs. It's easier to handle that way.

ANYWAY, back to you. Are you hooked up to anything? Cause I could come break you out if you're not.

Maybe she's happier?

I...don't think so?

I have to hope so. She was a good friend.

It would be obvious, wires and tubes would be here and there.

My name is Maryanne. And I've been where she is. It'll be better for her moral, and probably health, if she's home with you.

It means you'll have to sit with her, and do things for her, and help her do things that normally women would want to do alone. But if she's not connected to anything... The bed at home is probably more comfortable than the one in the hospital.

I only want her healthy. I am not a healer, or a doctor as you say, and so I cannot judge the state she is in.. but my instinct says to trust them.

And I want her whole. What if it's too soon and something is wrong.

I can't lose her.

I know, but you're smart, you can gauge a fever. Even if you can't I'll snag something that'll be more to the point. All you'll really have to do is dote on her. Something that wouldn't hurt either of you.

Usually after... In this day and age, the woman usually goes home the day of, sometimes the day after, but no later than two days after.

If she's just sore, and laying there... Even if they're feeding her meds, I'm sure that's something you can help her with.

If things get rough I'll drag House to her by his manbits if I've got to. The likelihood of a woman dying from something like this is so small, now, that... It's almost more likely that a giant fish will pop up out of the sea and swallow the whole island first.

I have no issues with caring for her. She's my wife and I would do anything. And women die of these things very frequently where I

I am afraid.

I don't deny it. We have so many things for the child in our rooms and I don't know what to do. Do I take them out or leave them there? I don't want to hurt her, but it will break her heart. Do I encourage her to trust in Firefoot or keep her away from him.

What do I do?

I didn't think you would. But sometimes after things like this happen, withdrawal happens on both sides. Especially if she feels like she's at fault. Or you do.

I'll be honest: Most men are. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

I would put them out of sight, stash them in a spare room, if you have one, until she feels like she can face them. You don't want them completely out of the apartment until she's ready for that. And when she feels like she can face the things, then be with her when she does.

As far as Firefoot goes: That's probably going to be a slow process. They both need to trust each other. I'm not sure he does. And being thrown from him... It will take some time for her to get over that. Small steps in that direction, and loads of precaution if you bring them both together.

Ah, I believe Dr Eldoon was treating you, but come to think of it, I haven't seen him around lately. I'll come and check you over, and see if we can get you back to your husband now. I'm so sorry that you've been left so long.
