This place has a unique way of bringing people here, so far we haven't found a way to leave. Be careful of the stone tower at the center of the city, it can...change people who get too close to it.

There were moments when it was difficult not to. That's all. I knew you didn't mean the things you'd said when I left, but that didn't keep some part of me from thinking you---had just tried to forget me and wouldn't care what happened to me if it made it easier to pretend what happened hadn't.
