I think it's safe to say that it'd probably be a good time to start working on some kind of day care.

For infants?

Yeah. There are a lot of pregnant women on the island and I'm sure they'd like to take a break every now and then. Just to have a minute to catch up on some sleep or something. And while I would happily watch any of the babies any time it's needed, one person can only do so much.

Best they're not taken from their mothers. Assuming they survive.

It would be strictly voluntary, of course. It's not like I'm going to force them to give me their babies. I'm just saying that sometimes, people need a minute away from their kids. I know my mom needed time away from me when I was growing up. It doesn't mean she loved me any less, just meant she was human and needed some "me" time.

I'm sure. I don't argue the point with you.

With Bridget's babies coming next month, and the other babies that are due on this island, it would make sense to have a day care and to eventually set up a school of some kind. I mean, I can teach science to the kids, and math of course, but that's really all I can do until they're old enough for things like engineering and auto shop. Though my dad did say you're never too young to learn how to fix a car.

My child is due in July.

But of course you're right about schooling. I can do science as well. Maths. Various- I suppose observational skills? I don't know. I was more interested in finding somewhere to locate the child when John and I need to work. I don't believe John would approve of having it in the hospital. He'll assume I'll throw acid on it or something.

So yeah, we need to come up with something. A central location for all of the children at various times of day and so forth. And people to look after them.
