Robert and I will be getting married on Valentine's Day. We'll need some assistance as far as officiating the wedding goes.

Amanda has kindly agreed to make the cake and cater the reception. You're all invited to the reception, but I think we'd like to keep the wedding to just our closest friends.

Thank you.

I don't know where it is you're from or whether it would be sufficient enough for you, but back at home I was able to marry people. I'd be happy to help you if there is you need it.

I'm Gwendolyn Laugharne from Brecon in Wales. Nice to meet a fellow Brit.

It is indeed. Have you been here very long?

A few months now. What about yourself?

Only a few weeks.

If you don't mind me asking, what time are you from? Specifically, what year?

1192. Though I did spend several months on the train you might know something of, if you've been here a while.

And yourself?

I've heard of the train, but I was not on it myself.

I was born about 500 years after that, but I come from modern times. It's a complicated thing.

You don't age? There were some beings like that on the train.

I am human and aging at the moment, thanks to a wish I made, but normally I do not, no.

Was that a hard decision to make?

It was made for me. I made a very simple wish asking for one thing and whoever is in charge did something completely different, though accomplishing that for which I had wished.

When stuck in strange places like this, it is always good for people to find happiness.

That is very true. And I hope that you can find happiness as well, if you haven't already.
