I mean more than that. All of our classes aren't separated by gender. Everyone learns the same things, taught by the same people. There were girls in the classes where I learned to fight and I took classes on how to cook and sew.
There are plenty of people here who were raised by people who are not their mothers. Some from infancy. And they're fine.
Their fathers, others in the community, their mother when she was home, other family members. I spent most of my life here and know it more than I did my original home but I also came from 1991, it wasn't uncommon for women to have jobs and there were no rules barring them from any profession even there.
