Hello!

I've been talking with your man Darcy, and he asked me to take over from him running the multi-faith worship sessions around here. I've managed to twist his arm and convince him that it can be a joint-venture, and he shouldn't hand it over entirely. Not least because I think there are more Anglicans than Catholics around here, and if he's wanting to keep it multi-faith, I'm a little too... one-faith

I've agreed to a trial tomorrow, where I'll celebrate mass exactly as I would at home. Anyone who's interested can come along at 10am to join us, whether you are Catholic or not. If you are Catholic, and want to do a Confession, I can set one up beforehand - but if you can just drop me a message in advance to let me know, that'd be grand.

Anything else - you know, blessings, weddings, funerals, counsel, questions etc - you know where I am. As well as for the less formal. I love talking to others about their beliefs and ideas and so on.

Right so. Maybe see you tomorrow.

Oh, I'm so glad you talked him into staying with it.

He underestimates himself. I think we could take turns, or I can do the chatty bits that make him nervous and he can do the parts he's comfortable with, or... well, we'll find our roles.

I think you are exactly right, about him I mean. But I look forward to the joint venture.

And... I may need confession..

Sure, do you want to come along about 9.30 so we can be sure not to be interrupted?

It goes without saying, but as reassurance, all the rules of confidentiality will still stand even if we are in space.

Perhaps 9? There's a lot to confess, and you are the issuer of Our Fathers, or Mary Mothers, there may be a good many.

That would be far better than I would have had at home. Of course they would say "Oh, I'll not tell a soul" and run off and tell the nearest authority figure.

Sure, 9 it is then. I shouldn’t be excited

Really? Oh, no, I took an oath, I wouldn’t speak a word of it or even hint at anything, no matter if there was gun to my head or something.

Thank you.

They took oaths too, but some were bought by Prince John. But it's good to know you'll keep it. I just hope your modern enough that I won't make you blush.

Well, I’m Irish, so I don’t really give much weight to the royals and that.

Times have changed a lot. You’d be hard pressed to make me blush, but we’ll see!

That is very good to hear. But mostly because you're Irish.

I'm not going to try or anything. Just it's been a while.

Yeah, best not start throwing in fakes just to try to make me squirm!

Seriously, though, don't worry about it, I'm happy to be of some service and we can take our time about it.

I'll do my very best. I'll at least wait until all the real stuff has had it's repentance.

I'm glad you're doing it, I really am. I hadn't been exited about church, until Darcy started Easter services, in a long time.

Good place to start - it’s naturally going to be pretty informal, and pretty quiet.
