Message to Dr. Cuddy
I know I'm a little...late, but with the last batch of people who've gone, I know you don't have much help in the medical center. I'd like to volunteer if you want the help.
I don't know much about the sort-of day-to-day things, but I've got some basic training and a good bit of experience with trauma injuries, and I know how to grow and work with a bunch of medicinal plants, both normal and magic. There are some other spells and potions I could learn, but I'd have to figure out a way to practice them without putting anyone in danger.
Let me know.

I would very much appreciate the help, especially with the trauma cases. We never know when the station is going to throw a crisis at us. The plants would be very appreciated too. I don't like to depend on the doors for supplies.

I used to run a teaching hospital. We occasionally used mannequin simulation to teach procedures. The mannequins would respond as a patient would with breath sounds, heart tones and palpable pulses. We could even hook them up to our monitors. Would you be able to practice on something similar? On this station, there may be an even more advanced version.

I can't say I have a ton of formal training, so if you want to show me how you do things, I'm willing to learn. I was an auror, it's kind of like-I think you called them police officers? So I got some training in the basics and a lot about stabilizing someone until we could get them to hospital. And I was...during school we had to deal with a lot, so I learned some as I went then too.

As for plants, I have a greenhouse and a few gardens in the bio-dome. I have a few already that can be used for pain relief, as diuretics, laxatives or to induce vomiting, some that have some sedative properties, and then a few more that can be used in potions as well. I also got some seeds at Christmas through the door, once they're mature I'll be able to do more. If you want to meet me there sometime I can walk you through everything. You wouldn't be able to make the potions but a lot of them can be used just by having someone eat a certain portion of the plant or applying a paste to a wound.

I'm not sure honestly, the only training I've done used magic to simulate injuries and then we used magic to fix them, but I don't know what spells they used to simulate the injuries. I could try your mannequins? Magic at home didn't work well with electronics but it doesn't seem to be much of a problem here.
