I am to remain in isolation for a fortnight, so I have a couple more days of solitude ahead of me. But I am not completely alone. I have Lyla. My communication devices have all been off, but she was able to inform me that it was you trying to get in touch. I made an exception because I wanted to thank you for your gift basket. It was very gratefully received. No doubt you recalled my admission that I am a complete novice in the kitchen, inclined to burn even the simplest of dishes. So the soup has kept my strength up, and ensured I did not burn the kitchen down.
Otherwise, I am fine. Thank you for your concern.
