I didn't really celebrate them until I got kidnapped. Mitchell and Annie made such a big deal about that first one, and everyone after that...

It just doesn't feel like one I wanna celebrate this year. It's too sad.

I know you're still kinda new. But if you have anyone you've gotten close to, or care about even a little bit. Make sure they know it every day. Because they might not be here tomorrow. They could die, or they could just vanish before your eyes.

And they might remember, when and where they go back to. They might have to face something hard, or even death, and they might only have your words to get them by or to comfort them.

I have never had a 'birthday.' Nineteen seems a very good age to say fuck it. Speak with Jyn. She does not have a birthday, either.

I didn't have any before I got here. Mitchell and Annie started the tradition. Because I wasn't supposed to live past twelve. They took me in.
