I have not been able to sail the seas in daylight in more than a thousand years. Would anyone like to come and be part of my crew? I have no doubts that I can charm a captain to give his ship to me.

Well I can talk about it now but I could use your advice and we can talk about it later, too. I've met a girl who I really like and i want to see her on the reg. I'm just concerned about talking about my...proclivities. I don't want to scare her away by telling her how I view love but any time I told someone before they got anxious I was going to cheat!! I'm not a shithead! I wouldn't ever do that! But...people still think that about me anyway. And I want to be honest with her. Just because I have the capacity to love more than one person doesn't mean I would just run off and do it.

I just don't know what to say. I don't want to ruin it. I also don't want to lie by omission because if it came up later she could be upset I didn't say anything earlier.

Fuuuccckkkkk my life. Why do I have to be like this?

First, you being the way you are is what makes you the wonderful, beautiful soul you are. It's not an easy life. But from what I've heard being heterosexual and into the missionary position isn't as easy as it would seem either.

Second, you need to tell her. You cheat yourself and her if you don't. It is the only way to know how she will respond. If she likes you as I do, she will come around. It may not be as quick as I did, but... I had an unfair advantage.

I will be here for you, Angelfish. No matter what happens.

I may be a bit biased, but I don't think it is a scary thing. I think it's a very beautiful thing.

I am okay, more than okay. I feel... telling me this isn't something you need to be sorry for, however it was done. The only thing I lament is the 'were' means it is likely that we should not be doing the 'something' anymore.

You have many more years than I do and far more worldly experience. Even in our utopia of an island it was not always easily understood or accepted. But I see someone here who might be like me and it gives me hope. They seem like nice people with their big family.

I don't know what to do. I want to do that something and spend time with you. I also feel something for Lucy that I have never experienced before. I don't know what it is but I want to find out. And if I am turned away I do not want you to feel like some second choice.

I'm in a mess, B. My chest hurts.

That is why it is so beautiful. You are a rarity, I haven't met many like you even with all my years and experience. But you've lost me, big family?

Follow your heart. That is what you do because if you don't you will regret it. And being the second choice isn't so bad.

Do you want to have our adventure and tell her after? Maybe the fresh sea air will help you. Though... Maybe you shouldn't be my cabin boy.

I saw on the catalog four adults who shared the same name. They did not seem to be siblings. I guess I just assumed they were like me. Maybe I was wrong. I can't bring myself to ask.

I am trying to take her to New York before we leave. I want to tell her before I disappear to play pirate without her. I thought it might seem suspicious? Maybe I'm overthinking. I've sat here trying to work out every outcome like I'm writing the story for one of my games. None of the endings are good. That's why my chest hurts.

There is no way to work out that outcome. But, take her somewhere nice, but quiet. Where she can respond how she will, and not have to worry about crowds. And if she responds favorably... Bring her pirating with us. Her parents are going to be on the voyage too.

Her parents?! That's a horrible idea. I don't think we're on Meet the Parents level yet. Especially after the conversation we just had, even if it goes well. Ugh. I don't know how to explain it to anyone, either. I've done this a few times and it always sucks. Fuuuuuck.

It would hardly be at the formal introduction level. More like getting to know them, and they you, in a low key way. Also. Her grandfather is Loki. Not to scare you at all. I'll start praying to him.

Don't explain to anyone, but her. She's the only one that matters. Breathe fishie. You'll do fine. If it is what it seems to be, all will fall into place as it should.

Come see me before you take her out, a hundred bucks is not going to get you very far in New York.

We have done some sailing. I have likely more than her. I've heard clothes are waiting beyond the door, Nandita left it out I believe. As for speaking like a pirate I don't know what that would sound like here, but I'm certain we can pick it up.
