Hi.

I'm Maria Barton-Stark.

I'm Deaf. I can read your messages on the network. Voice messages are translated to text on my phone. In person, I do best with sign language. I know many of you don't use it. I can read lips. If you're talking to me, please don't turn away while you're speaking. I can also write or type, we can find ways to communicate.

In my time, I had done a great deal of work on my the station to improve it. And now all my work is back in my time. I want to make some improvements here too. My Papa, Tony Stark, will help me, I'm sure. I want to start by putting lights up, all around the station, and attaching them to the alarms system. If for example a fire alarm goes off - the lights will flash for me. It's a big job. Any volunteers to work with me and Papa?

Hey! A familiar face!

I'm more than happy to help Maria, it's great to see you. When are you from?

Hey TK!

I'm from December 2040. What about you?

January 2043, and Ashley is here from the same time. My baby sister Addie showed up a week after we did from 2045.

So you and Ashley have caught up to me in age. And Addie's 19 or 20? Wow.

Yep and yep. She's all grown up, turns twenty in July.

Welcome to 2018.

Wow. Makes me wonder who'll show up next and how old they'll be.

Thanks.

Never know! Could be anyone.

You're welcome. How'd your folks react?

That's great! Mine were surprised but they came around pretty quick.

So what do you want to get started on first?

Were you the first kid they'd had come back in time?

The alarms in the corridors nearest my family home.

Ash and I came back at the same time almost, but yeah. Though dad did it himself back in the day so it wasn't as shocking as it might have been.

I don't know. I'll be shocked if I have a kid show up.

I think I would too, if it happened now. But if I were in dad's shoes and knowing it had happened to me too? Different story.

Much the same, although I've already lived through this time (and I wasn't a toddler) so I don't think it's as bad for me.

Is there anything else you want us to get a head-start on?

I thought you looked older than you should. What year are you from?

I need an alarm clock that will flash the time on my ceiling and make my bed shake. Mine didn't come with me.

2047. I'm very old.

I could make you an alarm clock that projects the time without a problem, although the bedshaking part would need a bit more work. Unless you want to work on it yourself with your dad?

How about we work together? I don't think Papa will mind.
