I've noticed there are a lot of new people, and people who have been sleeping quite a long time...

Hi, Hello. For those who don't know me, I am Brynhild. Or Brynn for short.

I have opened up a club, Bad Things II, close to the University. It is a two-storied club. The very front is styled for those who aren't into the dance theme, with a bar and a wall of booze. And behind that is the dance floor and stage. On the upper floor is set up with hookahs. And plenty of shadowy corners.

Ther is also a pool for the merpeople to enjoy the music and dancing.

Also... I should warn you all that even those shadowy corners are recorded and the cameras in this place are very on point with the detail. The cameras are there for your safety, though! I will not put anything seen on the network.

Do you watch all of the footage?

I think what you mean is: Did I see you fucking that delectable hunter? Yes, yes I did.

I've seen much worse done at my club back in my real world. It wasn't uncommon for orgies to break out.

So you probably wouldn't be at all surprised if I asked you if you had a copy?

Absolutely not darling. I might have thought ahead and made one. Just in case. They aren't the best angles, it is CCTV after all.

I know it's not going to be good, quality porn but I'd still like to see it.

Well, it's better than the old VHS camcorders. You can come pick up the memory stick whenever you please.

Is there a way to define weird? It's different for everyone. I'd consider a werewolf with his fur died red a little weird.

Y'know, right now after the last few days, I don't know if that'd even register as weird for me.

Life is full of strange things, anything you've witnessed already probably won't be the worst. But... Since this is so bizarre when you first walk in, I'll let you have some of the top shelf, without 'payment'.

Thank you very much.

What does it usually cost?

They tend to deter despicable behavior. Feeding off of some unwilling, or glamoring them to be willing, for one. It was rather useful back home, and there were far more Bad Things there than just me.

It also keeps people from stealing from me, as some of the alcohol is from my own store.

Oh, I was thinking it might be some sci-fi thing, able to detect if someone was having a heart attack or something.

You might want to make sure it's clear it's yours. A lot of people from the station are used to everything being free. Is there money here?

Oh no. I can detect when those are going to happen though, by smell.

They're locked up on the very top shelf, and I offer glasses for payment.

If there is I haven't found any.

That's so cool. I knew someone who could detect cancer and encephalitis by smell.

Like you want people to donate drinking glasses?

Most ailments emit some sort of smell that lets you know the body is off. But most people can't smell it.

Oh no. I offer a glass, or a stein, of ale that's aged a thousand years for payment. I have other old drinks.
