I've decided this place needs some fun and I need to get out of the house. I found a high-end projector in one of the old department stores and there's a wall on one of the buildings bordering the parks that I think we could rig some big sheets up on so I am going to host a week-long Disney movie marathon, starting tomorrow. One or two movies a night, depending on interest, bring a blanket and some snacks and whoever you like and we'll all set up in the grass before it gets too cold to do so-not that it ever really does.

If you've never seen a Disney movie, it's mandatory, at least one night, everyone should see these. (not really but you definitely should come try it out!)

I'll make sure there's plenty of popcorn but everything else is BYO. Booze it up if you want but please be courteous and not get too wild, there will be kids around.

And finally! What are your favorite Disney movies? I'll try to find some favorites from the group and make sure they're shown. And Dreamworks/Pixar/whatever else allowed too, cause I said so.

Hey, it is helpful. Now you don't have to pick and choose. But I say start with the classics and work your way forward. But I might be biased.

That would take far longer than a week

Yes it would. Disney deserves longer than a week JD.

I am only one woman, with a baby. I will host the highlight reel and then everyone gets to go and enjoy their newfound and/or rekindled love for talking animals and outlandish musical numbers.

You are incorrigible. How about highlights reel for a week, get everybody really hooked, then once a week after that, we start from Snow White and work our way forward.

Okay, and I promise not to sing the outlandish musical numbers.

Oh, no, I'm sitting in Luke's room rocking him back to sleep, so he'd be the only one to hear it.

And maybe Steve.

Good. I love her, but she scares me.

Though you should definitely sing to that baby.

You and me both. But I find it pretty sexy.

I will absolutely do that. As long as it doesn't get him all hyped up.

Sleeping Beauty has my favorite villain, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid have my favorite villain songs. And Brave is just awesome.

As far as non Disney, Kung Fu Panda all the way.

I love the villian theme! And I agree about the songs, I think Be Prepared might be one of my favorite songs in general

I am occasionally a fan of the bad guy. Though I will NEVER like Cruella.

Be Prepared is an awesome song, and Jeremy Irons is one of those that I could listen to all day long.

I'll bring some treats from the bakery.

If you need any help with the projector, you could ask Finn. He knows how to work the one in the movie theater.

What fun. I'll come with Jack and the triplets.

Favourite movies - Cinderella. Beauty and the Beast. The Aristocats. Sleeping Beauty. Frozen. 101 Dalmatians. Shrek.

I'll stop before I list every movie. I think Jack and I really need a night out.

And Shrek is definitely on the list if only so I can tease Bruce.

The Star Wars series count as Disney now, right?

Also, Stuart Little.

My daughter Rachel likes anything with pirates. Someone mentioned Peter Pan. There's also Hook. Rachel likes Muppet Treasure Island too.

And she likes anything with bugs - A Bug's Life, Antz, anything like that.
